Hidden Craft SD reviews
19This place is certainly a hidden gem in the San Diego Bayside area! The food is well prepared and delicious! I had the Flatbread pizza. I looked at dishes that were brought to other guests' tables and had a thought that it would definitely be exciting to try some of them the next time I'm there. Not to mention, it is also reasonably priced. The staff is very pleasant and engaging.
Cool, self-pour beer garden with really good food and an outside seating area. Check it out!
Loved visiting this place! Was drawn here by the self-serve taps (which was lots of fun to sample whatever you want in any amount you want) but the food was also delicious and the guy who served us was suuuuper nice and chill thank you!
My family and I stopped by for a meal before hopping back on the train home at Santa Fe station. We're so glad we did. We each had a different item. One thing that immediately stood out was the warm hospitality and service by the manager, who quickly sold me on the French Dip sandwich (Special). My wife had the Greek salad with chicken and commented it was among one of the best she's had, daughter had their burger and son had the flat bread (pizza). I will say the French dip sandwich was amazing, the beef seasoned and cooked to perfection to its variantion/take on the concept. The beef was like a variation of ropa vieja/machaca /shredded beef juicy and flavorful. A must try if it's available. My son, a frenchfry connoisseur, said the fries were top notch and his flatbread really good. We didn't get a chance to try the craft beers but it's definitely a place to hang out and catch up with friends.
Hope to be back next time we're in SD
Walked by here on my way back to a friend's place. Popped in and enjoyed some great beers
Highly recommend
Great little brewery in downtown! You pour your own beers and pay by the ounce. Tried quite a few different beers that were all great.
This is where you go to taste amazingly fresh amazing beers, self pour, electronically charged by the ounce, a little more expensive than buying a pint but that’s not the objective here. Some of the best fresh hops I’ve tasted in a while. Also an amazing variety of specialty beers like a smoked brown, bacon and eggs porter, kolsch, lagers, pilsners, anything your heart desires as long as it desires beer! The shrimp tacos were also incredible if you like fresh cut jalapeños, pickled onions and special spicy creamy sauce.
Visiting from Florida. Best tacos I’ve ever had. The brisket was lean moist. Guacamole fantastic. Shrimp tacos so good. They pack everything into the most delicious soft corn tortillas I’ve tried. Great beer too.
Management was incredible. Would have preferred other types of beer then what they had is only complaint. Everything else was great!
I was super excited to try this restaurant however, I’m very disappointed in the quality of this food. I asked for medium rare for my burger, but instead I got a burnt rock with bacon burnt so bad I couldn’t even chew it if you’re looking for a good restaurant, don’t go here for a good hamburger there a better ones in the area.
Ordered the smash burger, fries and the Shark Bite Red Ale. One of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had. Jake took my order and was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
Not the best pour your own place I have been. The prices on the beers per ounce were about 30% more expensive then other places in large cities I have visited. Also, way to many IPA's. Nobody really likes IPA's, they just drink them to be trendy.
Food is great, drinks are self serve, love music, excellent staff, and a great overall vibe. This place is great. You can serve as little or as much of everything they have on tap, so it's a great way to try a bunch of different drinks or just find something you like enough to get a glass. Plus, pay by the ounce, so you literally get what you pay for. Price obviously is pretty dependent on how much you take advantage of their taps. Meals seem to be mostly $15-25. Highly recommend this place!
Amazing place, super cool interior!
If you like eating and taking photos this is definitely an Instagram worthy place. I’ve grown up in California my entire life and would be more than happy to come back. Prices are reasonable and food is really good! The salads and bowls are big! Definitely recommend all of the flat breads!
Had a really great time here while in town. Picked it for the casual environment and a menu that could accommodate a wide range of palettes. The employees were really laid back and a wealth of knowledge on beer craft.
Love this place! First time here. Great support from Mac. His energy was fantastic. Great selection of beers all new to me. Fun to try different beers. Will be returning!
Brie burger was quite amazing! Great selection of beers as well. It was a bit hard to find but worth it! Josh was super kind and helpful and just very hospitable.
Destiny brought me here!
I always pass by this spot when taking the Amtrak and always thought to myself, I need to check this place out. We'll I missed my train today and had two hours to kill so I thought.today.
Tried the Brunch Garden Burger with Chipotle Sauce added to it.and it hit the spot! The sweet potato fries are great as well. All of this paired up with their Hard Guava Kamboocha Beer. Would definitely be back!
Was very impressed with the quality of the food when at first glance they seem to prioritize beer selection and atmosphere. So don’t be fooled, this is a great chill place for a bite to eat, a drink, or relax with friends.
