I am happy with everything, it was all good. I was content with the whole process, from my first consultation to my operation day, and now with my results. I am happy because the surgery was beautiful and now I want to have my breasts done too. My tummy tuck scar is fading more than I thought it would and my stomach is so tight. Also, you will definitely need someone to help you in the after process, part of the reason it was so good was because my brother was caring for me. My husband went to him and had bad vibes from first time he entered office. Reception/staff grumpy and the surgery performed on his head took forever to heal. After going to him we heard several horror stories and shocked especially about a friend’s good friend who died because she bled out at age 30. I am surprised of all the good reviews. Do they remove bad ones?

Dr. Mowlavi performed an upper blepharoplasty and fat transfer to correct a scar on my eye. I am very pleased with the results. No more upper eyelids sagging onto my eyelashes! Dr. Mowlavi and his entire team were wonderful. Claudia, the patient coordinator, was helpful in answering any questions I had and thoroughly explained pre-op and post-op instructions. I had a few consultations with various cosmetic surgeons when I was considering a full body lift. Each of these people seemed competent but something was missing. I did not understand the underlying reason for my concern until I consulted with Dr. Mowlavi at Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Institute.
From my first visit I was treated as one of the family by the Doctor and staff. Each person’s attitude was so warm and welcoming. The Doctor and staff spent considerable time answering my questions and thoroughly explaining everything I needed to know. I called multiple times with questions and it took me a while to decide to proceed. Doctor Mowlavi and staff were patient and continued to address all my questions or concerns. This was a key reason why I felt comfortable with my decision and choosing Dr. Mowlavi.
I was very nervous on the surgery date and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and I was able to relax. The body lift which included breast augmentation and a tummy tuck was completed with a minimum of discomfort and my recovery was problem free. The care I received after the procedure was exceptional. I live 100 miles from the Doctor’s office but that did not interfere with the follow-up in any way. I received numerous calls from the Doctor and staff – many on the weekend following the procedure.
I was thrilled with the results – so much so – that I underwent a face lift, an eye lid procedure and liposuction during the months following. I have been equally pleased with each of these procedures.
My husband and adult daughter have also had various procedures from Dr. Mowlavi.

I do not usually write reviews but feel that I have a responsibility to let everyone that is considering going to dr. Mowlavi to please read reviews and do not go. I went to this doctor to make plastic surgery. My breasts were really big and embarrassing and I needed to make them smaller. He showed me some before and after pictures on his computer of how my breast will be after the surgery. He was friendly, and he told me I will be with you 6 months after the surgery. The surgery was unsuccessful and made my breast’s look extremely ugly as one was larger than the other. From the first month after the surgery on 10/18/2017 he told me don’t worry this is swelling. 2 months later my breast looks awful! The result was completely different what he said, when I asked him I don't like this result it's not successful, he got angry and refused to make an appointment to see me. He told the reception to tell me if I don't like the result, go to your family doctor. Dr. Mowlavi comes off as the type of surgeon that only cares about how much money you spend, instead of the needs of his patients. Worst doctor ever. Please beware.when I went to my family doctor he told me your breasts were better before the surgery, your left breast is bigger than right side, my nipple in a hole around the fat, both side still big.now I must see another doctor to fix this mess.this doctor has two faces. I don't recommend this surgeon at all.

AMAZING DOCTOR. I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Mowlavi about a month ago and had an exceptional experience. The Dr.and his team made it easy and the recovery process a breeze. I was very nervous about the procedure, considering I had never gone under general anesthesia, but the team made me feel at ease throughout the process. I could not have asked for better results. Dr. Mowlavi is truly an artist!

I have been seeing Dr. Mowlavi for years. It started to deal with Migraines, as part of a migraine study, but then moved on from there. He does great work, and his office staff really cares. Like any family, sometimes there are growing pains, but they are quickly worked out. I have never experienced a doctor who cares more about his patients on so many levels, and who works harder to see so much of a transformation for them physically, mentally and emotionally. He is a true artist.
