6Since moving to Palmdale High Desert is the only medical center I'm comfortable with. They care about your health and they do what they can (with your help of course) to help you stay healthy and strong.
It is a top quality hospital, care, cleanliness, kindness, all of the best
Leaving me to go blind because I cant get clearance for eye surgery (cataracts). Some of these drs need to retire. Sad, high desert used to be good as I've been going there since 1981. Going to be seeking legal advice on this issue.
The doctors and nurses take really good care of you and they make you feel like family and treat you with love and kindness better than antelope valley hospital also known as a hospital I when to av hospital for a cut on my left knee on new years day and the doctor put staples in my knee the first one he did he yanked on it twice to make sure it was in place and than put the rest on without numbing me he said if I numb you you'll still feel it so let me just do it real fast I will never go back to av hospital again for a cut on my left knee or anywhere else on my body
If you are not prepared to have to fight and advocate for yourself at this hospital. Do not come here! If you’re trans or a part of the lgbt community prepare to be misgendered constantly, despite being there to seek out hrt. Some of the staff here is really wonderful and others are very patronizing and belittling. I know this is a county hospital and it shows. It really does not feel like they care about you here. The only reason I am giving this place two stars instead of one is to be fair to the people who have made me feel cared about at this hospital.
Unfortunately, I cannot have the same opinion as many. On 02/14/2023, I was in that hospital for emergency reasons, I traveled from Van Nuys, California without knowing it and I went to find that the person who treated me is too racist and apart from being discriminatory, the place can be It was clean and tidy but it's a shame if there wasn't racism that would be perfect I don't want to go back to that place
