High Horse Malibu

This was the absolute best experience and exceeded all expectations! This was my first time ever riding a horse and was a little nervous. However, the equestrian was SO helpful and personable that I felt like a natural. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend.

Sarah our tour guide was great! Great location and well groomed horses. What a great experience!

Just avoid booking with them at all costs! The host (Lacey) messaged me a day before our reservation saying that her guide was sick and our only option was a cancellation or a ride at 8: 30! I strongly believe they double booked and didn’t wanna admit. According to her the other guide could only do mornings so i asked if they could start at 11am (our reservation was at 12) she didn’t even respond she said i can issue a refund, I even asked if she could take us to the trail with the horses again no response. I didn’t want a refund I wanted her to take responsibility.anyway don’t book with them because they will cancel for no reason or they won’t even offer any other solutions. Very unprofessional!

Booked a couples ride at sunset and it was absolutely gorgeous. Sarah was our guide and made us ride like a pro in no time. The views are just stunning and the sunset or sunrise timeslots are worth every penny. Highly recommend and the horses are rescues & well behaved. Definitely bring whole carrots to feed the horses some snacks before & after you ride so they like you more and cash to tip your guide because we were so happy that our guide was able to take our phone to take so many pictures of us along the way so we can just enjoy ourselves. 5 stars is not enough for how nice this was.

BREATHTAKING! The private tour is a great experience. Our guide was helpful and very accommodating. She’s is the best! Definitely a memory or the top of my list. Totally recommend thing to do in Malibu.

Wonderful and unforgettable experience! The owner Brian led my wife and daughter on a beautiful trail ride up into the hills to take in some breathtaking vistas of the Santa Monica mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Brian is a great guide, the horses are sure footed and charming, and the whole experience left some incredible memories.

So much fun! Chill atmosphere and a beautiful ride, wish we could have stayed out there all day!

We loved High Horse Malibu and our horses, Sgt Pepper and Leo! Our guide was wonderful and his assistant delightful. The trails were gorgeous! We highly recommend going this time of year while all the wildflowers are in bloom. The views were incredible. It was such a peaceful ride.a nice break from city life. We will be back!

Such a special experience. The trail is beautiful. Lacey is wonderful to work with to organize the reservation. Brian is a true cowboy and incredible teacher. He made us feel safe without being rigid. My nephew had never ridden and was a bit nervous in the beginning but by the end, with brian's instruction, he was excited to ride again in the near future.my mom has a minor physical disability and they were able to work around that and give her this opportunity with her family and nature. I am beyond grateful.

I took my best friend for a private trail ride on her bday with High Horse and it was truly an unparalleled experience. The horses are all well loved and cared for, and it really shines through as a client meeting them all for such a brief time. Our guide Brian was hilarious, knowledgeable and supportive, and the trail was full up of wildflowers and greenery. I’ve gone on many trail rides in So Cal, and none compared to this. For health reasons, I wasn’t even actually able to ride, and it still was nothing short of incredible. Can’t wait to bring my mom back next time!

I went on a private ride with my sister and this experience far surpassed our expectations! Our guide was super knowledgeable, kind, and willing to take our picture whenever we asked. We also got a crash course on how to ride a horse and although it was only a short lesson we both felt very comfortable the whole ride and the horses we very kind as well.

Thank you Brian for an AMAZING experience. Coming from Florida you don’t know what to expect, but just spectacular views of the mountains, Pacific ocean & peacefulness of nature makes this an absolute must activity!

Had a fantastic experience at High Horse Malibu. Our guide, Brian, made us feel very confident and he selected the perfect horse for an inexperienced rider like me. I expected the views to be beautiful but a better description would be breathtaking. Highly recommend this company!
