High View Nature Loop Trail reviews
6Quite an array of flowers and native vegetation can be found here! The Joshua Trees and valley views are impressive! Trails are well marked!
It takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to go up to the top and descend. If you are at the Black Rock campsite, it is good to take a light walk.
The top view is great
Very scenic plenty of Joshua trees and incredibly easy short trail loop. One do need good grip boots sandy trail is slippery on some spots. On some websites there was a mention of benches at this trail but we did not see any.
Trail was well marked and fairly easy. We went up counterclockwise from the start and was a more gradual incline than the other route. Beautiful views of the sunset behind the mountains. Lots of pretty flowers as well this time of year.
It's a two-hour course, and it's good to camp, eat breakfast, and walk around!
Nice short trail. Great location to get the Joshua Tree vibe and experience without going into Joshua Tree proper.
