Highland Park Brewery reviews
19Fantastic place, awesome brewery vibe, amazing chicken wings and beer. Come here, you will be blown away.
One of my all time favorite breweries, when I'm in LA, Highland Park is a must to stop at for me. I stopped by this weekend and got great beers and great service. Tommy was hospitable and hooked it up with great recommendations making my visit even more memorable. Would recommend coming to highland park to any craft beer lover out there far and wide, definitely worth the stop. Sincerely one of the best breweries to come to, 5 stars.
Great spot, ample seating indoors/outside. Saw lots of dogs outside. Came on a Saturday and it was a bit busy so just know that going in. Parking was difficult, and you had to wait in a 5-10 minute line anytime you wanted to buy food or drinks. Also around 3: 30pm they had a line to get in because they were at capacity. Food came out quickly and they have some non-alcoholic options!
Don’t park in this area. My car was broken into on Elmyra. I should’ve noticed all the broken glass piles along the sidewalk. I’d recommend just avoiding this area. Beer was fine but not worth it…
Fun place for lunch or an afternoon drink. There was free street parking which, at first, looked tough but was easy enough to find a spot even during a busy lunch rush. We had the burger, naked wings, and pretzel with queso. Everything was really great, including the beers. Good selection with a variety for the beer/non beer drinkers alike.
Not dog friendly at all. The super rude security guard explicitly said the order was coming from management and unless you dog was a service animal they weren’t allowed inside or at the patio. Please update your website so we don’t waste our time driving around looking for parking for hours only to be rejected entry at the door.
Every time I'm here I never want to leave. This place is one of my favorite places to hang out in ALL of Los Angeles.
Easily the best stouts in the area! Lots of seating available, but i prefer the barrels in the outside section because I like standing. I like that it’s dog friendly as well.
Good food, but I definitely think they should include cheese in the price when you buy a pretzel!
Good food and the beer seemed good too but the line was quickly out the door, only 2-3 people serving, wasn't going to stand in 20+ minute line to try a second one. They could also do better with fly control inside.
It's popular and there seems to be a reason, but I have no idea why they can't add a couple more stations and pourers which would clearly help them sell more beer!
The black lives matter poster at entrance corner window needs to be removed. It makes place look trouble and realistically all lives matter. Many of my friends and customers once they walk up and view this poster, they all walk away. Poster makes brewery location look as trouble place and not good for customers.
Great brewery! Delicious beer and delicious food! Easy going vibe and great staff. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely incredible brewery. Service, beer and food are top notch. Next time I’m in LA absolutely a must stop.
One of few breweries open before 4 on a weekday. This one has a beautiful view of the State Park. Yummy beers that get updated regularly. In addition really yummy food try chicken sandwich or burger with fries. Their salad with chicken good too. There's also some beers that you can purchase as a pitcher so check if you're in a group.
Highland Park Brewery deserves 10 stars! Upon my arrival I received a very friendly, warm, genuine welcome from security officer Dejon. He was very informative on how to scan the QR code to give me easy access to the menu along with checking my ID which gave me great sense of comfort that I’d be safe and along with every other guest that came. His customer service was immaculate and I’d most definitely be back just to say hello and hold a great conversation with the guard. On to the BREW! Omggggg I absolutely ADORED each and every brew I tried. They had such a smooth finish. I recommend the BASEBALL and PIMBO you won’t be disappointed. I must finish by saying the HOT WINGS are such a great pair with the brew if you’re looking to order of the menu. Thank you DEJON and BREW STAFF for such a great experience I will definitely be back as a regular along with friends!
Great place with a wide range of craft beer and other beverages. I had a few IPAs and they were quite good, and tried a few of the other beverages (can't remember which) and they were interesting and tasty too. We got a big pretzel and wings and both were very good. Would've tried the Oktoberfest menu if we were hungrier. The service was top notch and they're nailing the classic craft brewery vibe without being too stuffy or rough around the edges.
Beer was delicious and the impossible burger with the crispy cheese and amazing sauce is the best burger I’ve had since becoming a vegetarian 15 years ago. All my non-veg friends tried it too and raved about how good it was.
Good spot for a beer and a burger. Chicken sandwich is good too. A little pricey but the beers are good and staff is nice. Also has a nice patio out front.
Great brewery at a convenient location that has a great selection of drinks. Only thing that can improve is the seating areas.the tables outside are facing the sun which leave you exposed to the sun as it sets. The inside tables are nice but you’ll find that it’s stuffy and hot on a crowded day.
We had a great time at this brewery. We love IPAs and every single taste was delicious.
First time visiting their brewery and it won't be our last! Will be keeping an eye out for @highlandparkbrewery anytime we are at a bottle shop or taproom.
Thanks for the hospitality and stickers!
