17Looked like a nice place for breakfast. Read that the patio was dog friendly but after standing at the stand here spot they had and not one of their servers acknowledging me and my dog. I left. Was really looking forward to trying it too, after getting the courage to go out and have breakfast just me and my dog.
Great food & pastries. Great coffee. Super nice staff. Lots of wines available for purchase. Definitely a gem of the area.
Good weekend spot to hang out in. The matcha lattes and hibiscus tea is good. They have an interesting blend of dishes - would recommend the Kyoto bowl (comforting porridge with good texture contrast from the kale and crispy rice).
We found a table really easily every time we’ve been here and their outdoor seating is shaded.
They only have wifi on the weekdays so it’s hard to do most laptop work during weekends. Good place to lounge and read, though.
Tasty food. Lots of coffee and beverage options. Hipster atmosphere. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. No cash.
You know, when you spend $50 on breakfast including a simple drip coffee, you should get topped off no problem- not here. Food was good, but felt judged by every barista and server. Inside the music is too loud for the cavernous concrete walls with no sonic treatment as well.
If you’re craving super flavorful, wholesome food and a really warm welcome, this is your place! The staff is so kind. I had a giant kale salad with chicken. One of the best and most unique salads I’ve ever had. I love that there is $10 house wine.
Good place for coffee and a pastry. Food is overpriced for what it is, but what to expect from a coffee shop that has food options
Being able to sit out on the outdoor patio is a highlight of this please. Coffee is flavorful and breakfast didn't dissapoint.
Overall this place was nice and had ~vibes~. I was just passing through so only ordered a ‘lil chicken sandwich’. Fantastic sandwich and the sauce they had mixed up went with it well. On the side it had what I assume were pickled carrots and they were also great.
The issue is I was initially given another patrons meal. I stuck a fork in their carrots then was told “oh that’s not your meal” and they took it back. Hopefully it was remade before serving to the next guy.
The kale salad has me in a CHOKEHOLD. Unfortunately, I don’t live in LA, and not a day has gone by when I don’t think about that salad (we got it with grilled chicken). Outside of the food, the vibes are truly immaculate for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I really enjoyed this place. The inside is very nice and a perfect spot to casually meet. I got the fish sandwich which was excellent. Definitely need to come back and try more menu items.
Absolutely loved this place! The French toast and turkey sando were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The bright, airy atmosphere made for a refreshing dining experience. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu.
This place was great! One of the reasons we picked it was for the outdoor patio, which was surprisingly hard to find during our visit in LA (from San Diego).
The food was good, but my only critique is that the eggs and fries didn’t taste seasoned at all. Not sure if that was intentional—clearly the place is health-oriented—but pretty easily fixed with some salt.
The coffee, on the other hand, was PHENOMENAL. I see other people complaining about the prices, but I’ve had worse and more expensive coffee all over socal than this *perfect* $6 latte. The sesame chicken and waffle was really good as well. Loved the ambiance with the interior decor inside and the lovely plants outside. Really cute place
I like this place. Honestly the food is 4 to 5 stars but it is pretty overpriced compared to places of similar quality. Almost $20 for a breakfast burrito is obscene. I would feel less robbed paying 30% less for a 30% smaller burrito. Better yet, take the meat out of the total cost and charge people extra if they want sausage or whatever. Their hot sauce is really good. I would come here more if it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg every time.
I had a wonderful experience at this cafe! It's the perfect spot for a productive morning of work or simply enjoying a delicious latte. I was pleasantly surprised by their unique offerings, including turmeric and mushroom lattes. The cozy ambiance added to the charm of the place. Highly recommended!
I really love this place - good vibes aside from all the gentrification BUT most importantly is the food is out of this world! Coffees are outstanding
Loved this place! We had the french toast and the turkey sando. Both were delicious! The atmosphere was so open, airy, and light. Walking inside felt like taking a deep breath of fresh air. The staff was so friendly and they immediately offered us a high chair for our toddler. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items.
