Highway 1 Brewing Company reviews
17Local brewery, family owned deserves a good nod as they are the nicest people and really care about the quality of their experience. The back beer garden is pleasant. Everyone loved their food. For me the tacos were a little spicy. They were so kind to find a solution and handled it elegantly when I let them know.
Awesome location along beachfront highway 1, south of Pescadero. Fantastic setting, huge selection of their own brewed beers, and the fish and chips are fresh and tasty. Friendly staff, and local coastline treasure. Step into a fun, beachy, locals spot. Eat in the dining room, sit at the bar, or step back into the garden patio with its active coastal atmosphere. Add a trip to Ano to watch the sea elephants, hike, pick berries down the road, surf, kayak or bike nearby. Lots to do. Don't miss out on this great stop.
Stopped on our way to see pigeon point lighthouse with my family including 3 small children. Limited menu, but great food. Really liked the fish and chips. Excellent brewed in house beer selection. I had the amber ale and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't like hoppy beers like me. Great place for family stop.
Unfortunately half the menu items were unavailable when I visited so that was disappointing. The burger is good but feels a little on the small side and is just served witj a few chips instead of fries.
It's probably one of my favorite breweries with a breath taking view of the pacific ocean along highway 1. It's a small cozy family owned brewery with super friendly staff. I visited during the holidays after a trip to a Christmas Tree farm in pescadero. This placed looked like it was straight out of a Christmas movie. They have seatings inside and outside. For vegetarians, they have fries and cauliflower bites which was good. They have ample parking right outside. It's the best place to go to watch the sunset over the ocean with a beer in your hand.
Kate and Micheal were kind and friendly. The IPA had a classic flavor. The fish and chips were to die for and the wings had a unique smoky flavor that was pleasant. Overall an amazing experience, delicious and refreshing.
My wife and I stopped in for a quick beer on our way to SF. We ended up spending about 2 hours hanging out and talking with Kate the bartender, Mike the musician/performer, and a local patron. They were so warm and welcoming and gave us so many recommendations for our trip to SF. And the beer was great! For being just a quick stop it turned into a wonderful part of our trip.
Really nice brew pub. Great food. Fish n chips left nothing to be desired. The other plates I saw around looked quality. Really liked their beer. Strong product on that. I wish everything cost less but their location on the ocean can't expect that. Nice people. I'll be back.
Shout out to this super place.
Good food, delightful service, delicious beer, it's all about the water!
Excellent BBQ and delicious beer choices. Fast and friendly service. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.
They brew very fresh and excellent hazy ipa. Nice patio in the back. It has became our favorite place.
It's a little odd. When you walk up, there are a couple outdoor tables. You then order from a cashier at the front door. You quickly realize that you can walk towards the back for inside seating. Better yet, go all the way to the back for a very quant outdoor seating area.
Great place to stop on Hwy 1. Staff was super friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be going back when in the area.
Beautiful quaint family owned brewery. After having hiked Butano State Park, stopped here for some frothy drinks. My favorites were their Hwy 1 IPA and the Sailors Delight. Most importantly of all, the customer service was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to coming back.
Great beers, great location, and Kate is a great bartender. I didn't order food so no comments on that, but I highly recommend stopping in if you're in that part of the Slow Coast!
Great burger great cider beer and great family owned spot totally worth stopping by and getting something 10/10
