Hikari Bullet Train Sushi & Bar reviews
14My favorite place to stop for dinner before a show at the Fillmore. Sushi is great and the delivery method is really fun!
Unlikely spot for high quality fish that comes in generous cuts. Large selection of aburi sushi, which I love. I’d say, all in all, it’s great for what it is, but I do wish the atmosphere was cuter
Ate here for the first time recently with my boyfriend.
Had a nice lunch together. The dining area is cute, with their seasonal backgrounds for the mini train tracks. It was a fun and unique experience seeing our dishes being delivered by bullet train.
You order on the table side tablet for everything, appetizers, main dishes, drinks and even dessert.
Overall we had ordered two main dishes, two appetizers and had soda. Spent about $77 for two people. Fair portions and prices imo. We even had leftovers to take home.
Would definitely return again; likely with friends or family. I enjoyed their penko sushi a lot ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Touch screen menus at every table or bar seat. Food comes to you on a track or by robot. Very short wait between sitting down and eating since you're not waiting on a server for the most part. Perfect for anxious orderers or introverts. They gave sushi nigiri ramen and desserts from what I saw.
Yay robot waiterz! Yay bullet train sushi delivery! Super good food, attentive staff, friendly boisterous atmosphere make for an excellent time
Fat cuts of fresh fish. Fast service with the cute bullet train or service robot. Quality is almost as good as high end sushi (like Sugarfish), and for the price it's incredible.
Not too empresses with food quality. But you use an electronical device to order food and its delivered by a little train. It’s a very unique delivery system which is pretty cool. Picture below.
Food comes to you on a train or by robot. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. Nice place to bring family. Good prices. About $20 a meal.
Fun Japanese food modern spin on Sushi Boats. Shinkansen trains bring tasty Sushi and Tempura.
Amazing fresh fish delivered quickly. You order on an iPad and it comes right to your seat.
If you are ever in need wanting a speedy and tasty Japanese lunch, this is the place to go to. The food "shinkansen" quickly sends you the dishes you order via ipad. The 2 times I've been here I was impressed with the sashimi. The previous time I had a fatty tuna combo which was so great.
We had a great time at Hikari! Using the screen menu and getting our food from the bullet train was easy. The food was satisfactory! We were especially fond of the flan and veggie croquette. They also have a robot that will bring bigger dishes to your table. We’d say it’s worth going for the cute experience!
With the novelty of bullet train delivery the food doesn’t have to be good- but fortunately it’s great! We loved the cleanliness and interactivity of the place and my 8-year old dining companion loved showing me how everything worked during our early dinner. Would eat everything on the menu except the soft serve ice cream, which was deemed by my companion as “disappointing”. Go across the street and get a fish waffle soft serve instead!
Great sushi, hand rolls and appetizers. Taste so fresh like they were just caught from the water. Robot service was a fun addition.
