Hilberto's Mexican Food reviews
19Five stars for the food it is good, but holy moly they think they are a fancy sit down restaurant with the prices, even with inflation 2 burritos and nochos 60 bucks? I’ve had similar and better for less that’s ridiculous.
Worst Mexican spot I ever had I asked for Carna Sada burrito all I see in it was onion and salsa
Is first time I came to this place I had never had a Brakfast Burrito % that good I being in Colorado, Oregon, Reno, New Mexico fist time I liked
Muy Sabro
Everything on the menu is tasty. Love the carnitas (ask for some fatty pieces) - otherwise it is a little dry.
My family love the veggie burrito, beans are tasty as are the flour tortillas. Go, order, then decide, but you can't go wrong here.
Don’t even waste your money, I had a very bad experience at this poor quality Restaurant. Bad customer service bad food quality.
First time at the restaurant.wish I had looked at reviews. If I could give 0 as a rating I would. Unfortunately this lack luster burrito left me with a very sour taste. Got the surf and turf burrito. The shrimp were way over done and tasted old. Maybe they were frozen but just gross and the carne wasn't fresh either. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito and had the same foul old tasting meat. I didn't eat more than 4 bites of my burrito and I was just over it. We paid over 40 for the 2 burritos and an order of taquitos. Those were eh as well but at least somewhat edible. The burritos however, we were very disappointed especially when spending that kind of money.
We went here at the advice of a fellow golfer. The prices are are very reasonable for the amount of food; it's a value play establishment. We've had better Mexican food in San Diego. The burrito was huge, taste was good. The shrimp a la diavlo was fine but I would have liked larger shrimp.the sauce was tasty but could have been hotter. Even with the hot salsa I wanted more heat. Service was quick enough and the location is convenient.
My daughter and son will eat there a long time they used to bring food home for us and it was always really really good but I never thought about going there in the morning for breakfast I went there the other day because I was out in rancho San Diego and my favorite place David's didn't open till a little later they were not only there they were there making breakfast burritos for the firefighters over 200 of them what a commitment what a nice thing to do to support our local firefighters thank you thank you Hunter I'll go back and eat there whenever I can God bless you and have a great day
Sign says open and lady at the caah register. Me and my wife go in for food and they say they are closed and the grill has already been cleaned. But they could possibly make us some carnage asada fries. Didn't like that one bit. Should've had the open Sign shut off and the door locked. I will not be back nor will I recommend this place to family or friends. Didn't feel like they felt bad for there mistake. Oh well.
This place is amazing its one of many favorite places for me. Service is amazing and they are quick with the order. What's great you can call ahead to order
I've only been here twice but the first time I went was with a friend who really recommended this place for the taste and portions for a Taco shop it was good, but recently visited again and the place looks a little beat up, food quality and quantity lacking, and prices are higher than before but not the same taste or quantity.
$12 for a veggie burrito with like nothing in it… No thank you. Over priced for a basic taco shop with subpar service
I am pleased to say Yilberto's taco shop is a blessing period! First of all, I had a problem with my bank after I already phoned in my food order. I arrived and to my surprise my bank card was declined. I was embarrassed. I asked if I could leave my driver's license until I returned with the money for my food. They were very understanding and said it was ok I could pay them later, with no hesitation. I am faithful to buying my food only to them. The other Mexican restaurant in town has nothing but bad service. The food at Yilberto's is always fresh and yummy!
Couple weeks ago carna asada fries were $10 I went in today and got some and total was $14 never coming back again
I only get Chile Verde plates and their Chile Verde is not the best. They use the fatty parts of the meat, not the meaty ones.
The hash brown breakfast burrito. And chilaquiles eggs over well. So delish. Add hot saucea.gmmm but hey need spicier though.
Had a bad experience with their food. Got extremely sick. Old food, causing nausea and I threw up. Worst Taco Shop in Town!
Rolled tacos are good. But dont get the carne asada quesadilla unless you ask for guacamole. Its super dry
Very popular Mexican fast food place. Cashier very friendly and helpful. Some days food is excellent, others days ok. Worth a try.
