Small space you can miss easily, but very kind and professional. They have 2 reserved parking spaces for customers so Hillcrest parking issues are lessened. Thank you Hillcrest Optical for your help! They take time with their customers, so you will be treated right.

Lisa is the best optician I have had since Dr. Silverstein in midtown manhattan in the early 1962 where I began my life as a myope, age 8.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Yes, there’re many optical shops in San Diego, BUT Lisa the owner of Hillcrest Optical is absolutely the best in San Diego.hands down! I would call her the “optical whisperer”. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her for a few years and she’s the only person that I would ever let touch my glasses. I always call Lisa to help adjust my glasses (because they’re vintage frames) and just a few minutes my glasses are perfect every time. Can’t beat that! Thank you Lisa for your kindness and exceptional customer service! She has a great selection of frames and some vintage. Can’t find it in the store, she’ll order it and has great line of frames and manufacturers. The other San Diego shops are the best of the worst and the worst of the best. Go to Hillcrest Optical and get the best of the best!
