Their sandwiches are soo incredibly yummy. The bacon is perfectly crisssspy all the time, Their chicken half avocado salad is delicious and service is awesome

Honestly some of the best sandwiches in San Diego, especially true when in and around Hillcrest. Have been a patron for years and the quality never changes from anything less than stellar.

Great value! Not many spots like this left in San Diego that you get a full delicious meal for a great price. Lots of options too which is nice.

This is my go to place to eat when I am down south in San Diego. Their sandwiches are absolutely fantastic and delicious. I enjoy their beef sandwiches, hot sandwiches, seafood specialties and soups, but I’ve yet to try their salad. The team here is very hospitable and kind. Especially with the COVID crisis, it’s important that we support our locally owned businesses as opposed to big chain corporations. Try it!

This place is kind of tucked away and easily goes unnoticed, but they have fantastic sandwiches and soups here. It's a very small business, I think just two or three people work here, so I'm really glad they've been surviving this year which has been really rough on the industry. They had limited dining space set up anyway due to their small space so I think, or hope, most of their customers were already used to grabbing take out. They're very friendly here and the service is really fast.

Only thing worth mentioning, if you get a sandwich with bacon on it, it's that pre-cooked bacon that you just zap in the microwave I think. I'm not a purist and not picky about bacon, but this stuff crumbles like crazy. They're generous with it (at least on the BLT, lol), so you should anticipate a mess!

There are 3x more beer options than food options. And wings are only available after 3pm.though they do look yummy. And can't beat their prices - on all items!

Both sandwiches I got were very bland, the meat tasted like the bread. The potato salad had very little flavor too. And the pickle had no vinegar or salt it was just a wet cucumber. This is very much personal preference but to me all the food simply tasted bland and bad. I won’t be coming back

My best friend and I came in at lunch and ordered the Cabrillo and a super sub, these sandwiches were so good. The bread is soft everything is so fresh. It was our 1st time visiting and we will definitely be back. The employees were amazing, and friendly, they even let us test taste the potato salad. All out Amazing experience. Thank you.

Love the happy faces here, we had to place an order for fresh loaves of different breads to feed a wonderful group of nuns. The staff and management were very helpful in supplying information on time for pick up. Easy to order and very wonderful customer service.

You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. This place has a cool design.

Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. The bill was fair I would say. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

I got "The Sink". A roughly five inch thick sandwich packed with multiple thick layers of various deli meats and cheeses, crisp romaine lettuce, hot mustard and mayo on a soft freshly made french roll. It was outstanding and I highly recommend that you go here.
