Good location for walking to Union Square but the rooms were dated and facilities basic.
The check in staff were very abrupt and rude. We were not informed at check in that we had dining credits (and not informed this upon booking via our travel agent). Upon checking out, the staff member assisting us was very surprised that we hadn’t used our credit- when we explained he told us we’d be refunded it, but this has not yet happened (we had spent a lot of money in the market shop so the credit would have been utilised)

There was a guy who named Peter at the parking lot. I was not mentioned about the parking limit time, which is 3pm by the staff at the lobby, but Peter said that I still have to pay for the extra hours of parking. When I checked in, staff at the lobby clearly said that since the parking ticket machine was broken, they are not strictly checking about the parking time. Peter said that still, it is "MY PROBLEM" and forced me to accept that I was not responsible enough to check that parking policy, which I was unknown of. How come the staff at the hotel said that customer is the problem? Is not this the staff problem that the customer was not fully aware of the service? This place is strongly NOT recommended. Service sucks.

This is my second stay in Hilton Union Square after last visit on 2018, and it was still amazing as usual as a Hilton Group, the person who help me check in also talkative to explain what we got and offer me to upgrade to balcony room on 32nd floor for only $60 extra per night (but me and my friends decide to not take it cause i'm not a big fan of high floor). Definately i will use this hotel again and really recommended for traveller/tourist.

I can't believe they list this as a "safe" neighborhood. It is very, very dangerous, especially at night - with many homeless drug addicts wandering the streets of the Tenderloin looking for their next fix.
And the hotel is CHEAP: there is a gorgeous dome at the top of the new portion of the hotel which the hotel chooses to leave permanently off. It would be a welcoming beacon in that area.

An excellent hotel. Surprises for your partner's birthday are carried out brilliantly and even topped, so I can only say THANK YOU VERY MUCH and advise anyone who wants that "special something" to definitely book this hotel. Everything was right.

Poor rooms very dated scruffy carpets.
70 dollars to park per night!
Breakfast costs 45 dollars per person what a joke! Who pays almost 200 dollars for breakfast for a family of four!

The hotel accommodation and staff service exceeded expectations. It was located conveniently close to transportation and activities within the city of SF, including the art Museum, restaurants and shops.

The room is so big that I don't understand the meaning of space (lol)

Although it is a single room, there is enough space for about 10 people to sit with a sofa and chairs.

There is no bathtub or amenities, which is inconvenient.

The hotel overall is clean and comfortable.

The hotel is in a good / bad location. Unfortunately it is conveniently located in the city but surrounded by homeless people living on the streets. This is a huge drawback to staying here. Furthermore it costs $65 a day to park in the hotel garage that only has two EV chargers. This is nowhere sufficiently close to meeting the demand to charge a vehicle while staying here.

We arrived this afternoon with a tour group. Were hungry, the Green Kitchen store is not recommended. VERY RUDE, THE STAFF DIDN'T WANT TO SERVE US, HIDED BY THE COLA. PIZZA WAS THROWN DOWN, MORE THAN RUDE. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE TO STAY HERE 2 NIGHTS. OTHERWISE, THAT'S WHY WE CHANGED THE HOTEL. THAT WAS DISCRIMINATED, I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THAT

Worth experience ever. I stayed at the tower 3, the room had a street view, with LOT of noises. After 3 days without a good sleep, I have decided to leave (my original stay was 4 days). The receptionist did a wrong check-out and he extended my stay for another month!
As I was charged on my credit card with crazy amounts, I called the hotel (1hour 3 min) the day after my check out, and realized what happened. The issue is still not fixed,
[updates] the issue is now solved. They have reimbursed me and added additional points to my Hilton membership.

So expensive for the same Hilton experience as any other Hilton. The worst part of this hotel is it's proximity to the Tenderloin and the homeless and crime issues. Had a scary situation with a homeless person brandishing a machete out front of the hotel. Police intervention and all. It was hard to feel safe outside of the walls of the hotel. I get why Hilton is exiting SFO next year.

These reviews are such a joke. In order for Hilton to support its WOKE agenda and support San Francisco's poor public policies and exploitative tax policy's it has sacrificed quality. Walk through the halls. The rugs are DIRTY. The rooms are DIRTY with WALLPAPER peeling off the walls. Give me a break. Simeone pays. Hilton expects us to pay $750+ a night while given us subpar experience hoping we do not notice so they redistribute the income through taxes to whomever. Leave San Francisco. Take your conference to Vegas, etc.where they know how to treat guests.
