Great groups of people and tours. Free admission and really great trolley rides for the family. Many of the locations were closed when they stayed they would be open for us. Would have been nice to see some of these closed locations.

Love the park and its location. Went there to attend an Indian event. Lovely spaces to sit and chill as well. Only downside is the limited parking nearby

Great little park with many artifacts of San Jose's past. Also hosts events like the San Jose Poetry Festival.

Wonderful living museum. Historic buildings, automobiles, trolly, train, with lush grounds and loads of friendly volunteers in each exhibit. Everything is free, including a trolly ride, except parking that was $6.

I wish we had been able to visit on a weekend or during an event when (I assume) there are more people and some (or all) of the buildings are open. I imagine this is a really fun place. It was still fun to be sort of immersed in what a small old time town may have been like. I think it's great San Jose has something like this!

Great place to learn about the history of San Jose and visit for random festivals and events.
Definitely a must visit. And while you're there, go visit the Japanese friendship garden.

History park is a way better place to visit. Thier spectacular and they have the most beautiful events. Way better then Winchester mystery house. And thier not over priced. And they don't charge for entering the park. Very beautiful place to work and to visit. Their managers and the staff are great. Like I said way better then Winchester mystery house.

We visited the park during Dia de Portugal. We enjoyed exploring the old print house, the old trains, and the museum.

Had a very fun day at History Park in San Jose for the Printers Guild show. We also spent some time in the museum seeing the very interesting display of nostalgic stuff. Amongst them this old Harley.

Had a surprisingly good time at the History Park! It’s well-staffed with very knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers. We checked out the school house, Vietnamese museum, and the trolley museum. We even got a private trolley ride!

Maybe this place is more interesting on the weekends or when an event is going on. When I visited on a Thursday morning in March 2023, there were historical buildings with some signs outside, but none of them seemed to be open.

I use to live in San Jose over 12 years ago. I didn’t realize this town had so much history. When I came back last week so much has changed with new buildings, stores, and restaurants. So I decided to go back to the roots of this town. I did not realize a lot of the settlers we’re Portuguese. I’ve been to that country and I can see a resemblance of what looks like San Francisco in Lisbon, Portugal. But a lot cleaner in Portugal. I would highly recommend visiting that country too! I went over the weekday on a Monday which 99% of the buildings were closed. They only open the buildings on certain days. I think it was the weekends. But I do recommend going to take date or if you’re into getting to know the city and explore what looked like the city of San Jose.
