Unique place that’s always been good, just changed owners and service and menu is a bit different but so far so good.

Under the new owners, the burger quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. Ive had the burger at the old owner a few times and it was good. This time it was thinner and tasted at the end of its shelf life. 2 beers and a burger was close to 40 bucks. In my opinion, you should never have a 15 dollar cocktail on your "specials" board. I very much want this place to succeed. I highly recommend a nightly dinner special in the 10 to 12 dollar range. Meatloaf monday, taco tuesday, etc.have a decent meal at a decent price every night of the week and I think you would build a better regulars crowd. A beer and burger combo would be great as well. As it stands now they are getting close to South Gate prices without getting near the quality.

It's under new ownership. Family owned and operated. Smaller menu, but still a good selection. Servers nice and attentive. Be patient with them. They are still learning the menu themselves. Food is still good

I REALLY wanted to like this place. But, the new owners are really having a hard time with customer service. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and it didn't all come out at the same time (more than 20 minutes between the plates.) We never got a refill on our drinks. We will give them a few more months of learning the biz and come back for another try.probably. They seem really nice, and I do wish them the best. This is a great venue, I want it to stay in business.

The place is under new management, but the food is still approximately the same. There's nothing that really stands out, but it's a nice business to support. The atmosphere is very mountainy, as it should be.

Ordered some biscuits and gravy for my girlfriend. They were pretty damn good. I've ate here before and never had a complaint. Great food, great service!

Terrible service new ownership doesn’t do anything right and just should have kept it the same way it use to be.

This restaurant is such a cool place. The vibe is so welcoming! The staff is incredibly friendly & soo are the locals! Plus the food is delicious! The onion rings & the Bloody Mary are 2 of my favorites! Thanks TerraJo for the great service and food!

Great food and very reasonably priced. Portions were large and service excellent. We ordered the patty melt with fries, turkey on hoagie with side salad which was huge, taco, and bacon cheeseburger

Stopped in here while passing through. Great local spot. Almost passed on this place because the times published were incorrect. Confirmed that they are open Sunday through Thursday from 10 AM - 10PM and 10 AM - 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.
We'll probably go back for Karaoke on Friday night.

Love there chicken wings, and potato salad. Staff is friendly, and I would recommend to everyone.

Food was wonderful! Best and most freshest burger and fries ever! Potato skins were marvelous and loaded with yummy ingredients! Stopped in after Yosemite hike and was pleasantly surprised

Along the road that leads to Wawona we were looking for a possibly typical and tasty place to have lunch and give ourselves a fresh break from driving. The Hitchin Post blew us away. At the entrance we found ourselves directly in front of a long counter where the very kind owner immediately seated us. Together with us, other local customers were eating their lunch with a country background while on the wall behind the counter the memories of past parties held in the place alternated with the classic brightly colored neon lights. The choice of food varies from small fried treats to main courses based on burgers, soups and meat. We had a burger and a plate of fried chicken breast and were pleasantly surprised by the flavor. A true cross-section of local cuisine and local atmosphere. Absolutely recommended to and from Wawona.

Great place to eat but could use a lesson or two on service and paying attention to customers a little more at bar. Took a while to get acknowledged and to get a drink
