7I wish I would have had same good experience with my expresso machine. These gentelmen took over 8 weeks to get machine back to us. They have very odd hours for service so I had to try to arrange a time that I could get off work for pick-up. When I was over a week late to pick-up they stated that if I didn't pick-up machine by end of week they would sell it! Yet we waited over 8 weeks! On top of bad service the machine now leaks; which was not the problem we brought it in for - we paid over $450 - don't recommend at all - keep looking for better service.
Reliable shop to repair and rebuild your high end espresso machine. Not cheap but highly qualified and experienced. Highly recommend!
We took our 5 year old Gaggia for repair several months ago. Dave took our machine for repair right away and completed the work sooner than expected. Price was reasonable. Our machine is still working great. Unlike some of the reviews we found Dave very personable, knowledgable and instructive. So glad to have this resource and happy to support a local small business.
David, Otto and the 3rd guy (forgot his name) are very informative and helpful. They are the foremost experts in home espresso machines in LA.
I got in contact with David via e-mail and he was very responsive and said I should come by and drop off my Gaggia Accademia. When I got there we went into his workshop wich is the downstairs of his house. Another call came in and he talked to the customer for a while. When we got to my machine he just said it would take 10 days and $300. At this point he had not even looked at the machine to figure out what the problem was. I thought that price was steep but decided to go with it. When he filled out the paperwork for my order I looked at it and he said I should keep my distance because he has Covid. No mask and no mentioning of it before I entered his workshop. I took my machine and left. Unacceptable.
Owner invited my wife in to workshop then said don’t get to close I have the COVID and didn’t attempt to put a mask on spouse left the appliance and called me I returned and picked it while wearing the mask and he still didn’t have one on,
Let him know I’ll take my business elsewhere that will respect customers, don’t go there!
Lack of professionalism and knowledge. Very surprised there are any good reviews.
Response to owner: Not a fake review a genuine warning to others. The fact that 1/3 of your reviews are 1 star speaks for itself. Take the criticism and re-evaluate your business model and attitude.
