Filthy men's bathroom with fixtures falling apart. Slow table service (based on multiple visits here). Not sure why the kitchen and drink service is so slow. Ordering a beer at the bar was okay. Friendly bartender. Parking can be sketchy at popular times. Lot gets full.

I celebrated my bday here with approx 25 people. The food was delicious! The place is cool. They are understaffed and disorganized. You can imagine having 3 waiters serving the whole restaurant. My guests were waiting for drinks and it was very hard to order. Pool 3 waiters running around nonstop. Very disorganized. If they had more staff and a better system for a full restaurant then they would be 5 star.

Literally called 100 times in a row and no one answered. Just wanted to check if my debit card is still there without driving 40 minutes.

$20,000 overcharged on my tab. I recently visited The Hive for a coworker’s retirement party. The venue is okay. The lack of bartenders and wait staff makes it difficult to get a drink or food. But I can live with that. Being overcharged by over $20k is more problematic.

I ran a tab on my credit card, closed it at the end of the evening and paid the tab. A few days later I noticed a charge for over twenty thousand dollars on my card. I called my credit card company to let them know of the error. They took note of it but recommended that I contact the establishment to try to resolve it. I went in the next day and they expressed shock at the charge amount. They tried to contact the owner several times but couldn’t get ahold of him. I left my name and number and asked that the owner contact me.

After several days of hearing nothing from The Hive I had to go through my credit card to resolve this. I still can’t believe a bar could overcharge someone by $20,000 and then never call them back. Needless to say that I’ll never go back there. And I recommend that no one be foolish enough to spend a dollar there. If I didn’t have my receipt I could have been on the hook for this fraudulent charge.

It was fun. We got a discounted room bc we ended up drinking so much.: D otherwise it can get pricy if you rent a room too long. We had 9 people in a "small" room.

I went with my cousins here a week ago, there was 9 of us in an exclusive and soundproof room. We ordered Soju Passion fruit, It’s really good! It keeps coming as you order (food/drinks). Food is oily though.just drink lots and you’re good to go! We had soooo much fun!
The place is clean, huge and NEW! I am organizing a happy hour with my colleagues next!

Great food, bar and nightlife. The karaoke rooms are a ton of fun and the dance party at the end of the night is fun. Highly recommend the bimbimbap.

Super fun. The DJ is better than most places in North Park or PB. If you enjoy karaoke even a little get a room and sing the night away with your amigos. The drinks are fairly priced and they have a wide variety. I will happily go there again.

I'm at first Afro Beat in San Diego I'm happy that we can come together network and have fun. This is my first time at Hive this place is beautiful I love the decoration the price is great to the best thing I did this sunday the venue is great you can order food drinks the best. I will be back again for shure.

I have never been a tequila drinker, so unfortunately, I can't speak to their margaritas, which they are known for. Maybe next time, we'll try one of their other drinks, but we were boring and just had iced tea.and no, not the Long Island kind.

I'm so glad my friend raved about this place often, so that when I found out about her special anniversary, I immediately thought to come here for a gift card. I probably wouldn't have ever tried it otherwise.so, a big anonymous thanks to her.

A favorite location for korean food. This place has a good feel to it. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.

Had a going away party after living in San Diego for 7.5 years on June 22nd, 2019 and David (co-owner) was extremely accommodating and even opened an hour early so we could have the place to ourselves. We got a Karaoke room which madefor a great daycare for the babysitters we hired to watch the kiddos.
All of our guess were happy with the experience and the Venue. Its is classy, open and we had a lot of fun. Thanks Hive staff for making one of our last memories in San Diego drama free and special.

So many food choices it's mind boggling and the challwnge of singimg while eating is worth it! Not to mention the delicious drinks.

My friend Bang took me here during my visit to San Diego. We went during week day and the parking wasn't too bad. The appetizers are great and good drinks too. It has a long table for big group. We were sitting at the bar and chatting. Not crowded at all.

The Hive has changed a bit since I came a while back, and the additions help to make the venue feel more welcoming. The staff is friendly and quick to assist you. It gets busy during their happy hour/Taco Tuesday, so be patient and let them know if there is an issue and they are happy to make it right. Great drinks and the tacos are quite a deal!

I had a ton of fun when I went only because of the people I was with. Most of the song books aren't in English and the equipment is glitchy. The worst part: the bartenders. Service was slow, they frequently ignored customers so they could talk to eachother, spent a LOT of time on their cell phones and didn't know how to make even simple drinks. I will say I liked that they had a clearly marked smoking area outside and bathrooms were clean although most stalls didn't have toilet paper.

Korean food.awesome.nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc.definitely worth going back to.the bill was decent for the quality.

I didn't do much over the but it looks like a nice place, and apparently they mix their drinks pretty strong

Fresh fish.rolls were superb! Enjoyed green.my stablemates very excited with the liquid Jello shots.

Used to be one of my favorite spots but ever since the new management came along, customer traffic went downhill. Other than that, the food is good and the place is nice.
