Hmart Irvine reviews
26It's small, the aisles are narrow, things are not cheaper compared to other Asian supermarkets like 99 Ranch or Zion Market. It's just there.
Fresh everything! I love H Mart. They have the best variety of produce, fresh seafood, household items, Korean food.the list goes on! The prices are superb. Staff is very friendly and greeted me as I passed by. I always leave with more than I came for after finding a new item to try!
There's so many things to try, and just an overall good market. My older boy loves the place, he always goes straight for those huge shrimp and begs me to grab a few.
Top notch. Really great options for seafood and pre-marinaded kbbq. Decent produce but some items tend to be very pricey. Only major downside is that it is in diamond jamboree which is just so overly crowded. Can't wait for the new location to open down the street.
Tip: their pre-made sushi is bogo 50% off after 3: 30pm everyday! It's a great deal.
Such fresh produce and exceptional fruit varieties. Tad pricey but worth the visit. Beginning of summer they stocked some very delicious watermelon. Check your receipts I have found mistakes in the charges versus the posted price. The lunch buffet is very satisfying with fair prices. I especially liked the crisp salmon, featured green beans and a dish that was made with some fine mushrooms and bell peppers! The water cups they provide might quench a small parrot's thirst. Some little 2 inch white paper cup.
Pricey. Cashier Ani does not pay attention to customers. She charges me for something I didnt get, I have to go back and ask for refund.
Wow.
Awesome produce, great atmosphere.
Staff are friendly and the overall colors and smells are really outstanding.
Love this location. Great variety of Korean foods, with a live fish array that is to die for. Nothing fresher than a prepped fish that had just been swimming in a tank. They butcher it up for you, whole fish cut up, or they will filet it for you if hunting for bones is not your favorite thing to do. The restaurant within has some very authentic Korean meals and dishes, and is very reasonably priced. I highly reccommend it.
This is the best Asian market I have ever been to. It's extremely clean and organized and they have a huge variety. They have a ton of produce and it's all at great prices. They also have fresh and live fish. Walking through this store is like a grocery store Disneyland. Can't wait to go back and look at more of what they have to offer.
Dark and intimate atmosphere. Perfect place for a date or relaxing with friends to enjoy one of my favourite craft cocktail bars in the city. This place is a hidden gem. From their Mezcal Old Fashioned to On the Grass or Love Letter, their drinks are so well balanced and on point! This place makes me happy from the first sip. My only wish is that their snack menu was alittle more extensive to cater to my munchies while consuming their lovely drinks.
It has a good selection of Asian foods with emphasis Korean. Food selection and marinated meats is great.
I really like this supermarket very much. They get great meat and produce in but I think owner should look into meat prices as meat prices are a bit on the overpriced side for the good beef that they have. $35-50 is a bit too much for that beef. Actually it is way overpriced at that price.
Store is crowded, and service not as friendly as you'd expect. However, produce are very fresh and the price is great. Great variety of choices for ready to eat items.
Here employees specially working at the aisle to handling product, they are need to be trained what is courtesy, you have to go the other groceries, they are cautious in coming traffics on the aisle.
I'm a huge fan of Hmart supermarket. I've been shopping here for many years, and find beautiful produce, unusual hard-to-find items, and prices are competitive. Really sorry that the market is always cleaned, and well organized. It is a pleasure to shop here.
Absolutely terrible parking lot of the worst humanity in the history of the world. Meat quality is good. Produce is varied. Side dishes and prepared foods is good. Layout is cramped and the knifefight of Asians with poor social manners should make all buyers beware. Go to Zion market where at least you will have space to breathe.
Great produce. They don't know how to make a good milk tea boba though. Walk over to 85C for that.
I have spent the last 3 years in Asia, and only a few days in OC. Needed some black bean paste, sesame oil, and road snacks for the drive back to Berkeley. So I looked up "Asian market" and voilà! Even found Sichuan spicy noodle sauce and firm tofu.
You can get great deals on produce here, especially the fruit and green onions. They unfortunately don't have a butcher so some meats (ground pork mostly) run out by the evening. They have very good prices on mussels though!
My go-to place for grocery shopping in Irvine. Great combination of variety, price, and convenience!
