Hobby Lobby, Santa Maria CA

Management is a joke. Followed me around the store as if I was shoplifting and called a security check right after asking if I need help. Once I was at the register the curly haired employee came and stood next to me and the woman who had been following me peaked into my purse. I have shopped at this store many times and never had an issue and never gave a reason to profile me. I have never stolen anything and was casually shopping like anyone else. I would have bought more if they hadn't made me so uncomfortable.

This place has such a variety of things. I really thought it was going to be like a Michael's or something. It's similar but on steroids! Great home decor like signs to hang up and large seasonal section. Everything is very well organized as well.

The manager in the fabric area is awesome. She is knowledgeable and friendly. I always enjoy shopping when she is on duty.

Why does Hobby lobby mark up their products and then say they’re 50% off? This is misleading and extremely unreal, because nobody would ever pay their full price, it’s a marketing ploy designed to make you think that you’re getting a good deal at their store. I went to the Santa Maria store yesterday and it was a complete zoo and the lighting in store is horrible. The lines were super long. I understand it’s Holiday time but I didn’t get approached by anyone for any help. I thought that’s why people came to Hobby Lobby, for their customer service and unique products. Apparently not so much. I went to Michael’s next door and bought everything that I needed and it was a much better experience and I saved a whole bunch of money!

I love this place, Hobby Lobby has many, many, many things to choose from, when I got there and I was looking for paint they had many different kinds of paint and different brands and choices, I really recommend this place because of the variety of things they have here, the workers here are really kind, the bathrooms are clean, and it's a great place to go to when you need yarn, candles, paint, and general items you use to do crafts, 10/10.

Love HL. Always so much to see and be inspired by. The Christmas things this year are amazing. And I always leave humming my favorite praise song.love the music. The staff is always super helpful and friendly too. One of my favorite places to shop.

You guys are discriminatory and kick people out of stores in Santa Maria after reading post on our local Facebook page and the same problem happening to many people. I will never go back to any of your stores and I will continue to share these people you discriminated against to not go to your establishment hopefully our community stops going to your establishment and you are stuck paying the lease for your remaining term with no sales. Sad extremely sad. Fire the manager

Sandra is horrible, someone needs to fire that lady before she takes away more business. She has no customer service, no manners, and doesn’t know how to leave people alone.

This store is horrible! Their Manager should be fired. Rude people! They act paranoid. Always following making you feel uncomfortable to shop. They need new staff there security is not professional at all! Never come here!

Never in my life have I ever been low profiled by another person here in SANTA MARIA! I was harassed around their store! There security and manager unprofessional! DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! They are rude disrespectful disgusting people! Never will I be going there again! As I went to walk out there security savage lady said have a nice day and don’t come back! Like a child! Then as I walked out I said what? And she yelled yeah it looked like you rolled your eyes at me so don’t come back! I was in shock! She then rushed and got in my face and by then my husband and sister came back and told her what was her problem? She continued to say I don’t want you hear you rolled your eyes at me! We proceeded outside and she followed us as we walked away she started yelling ratchets! I mean yelling! No never in my life will I go back! All this was happening while the MANAGER WAS LAUGHING AT US! UNPROFESSIONAL DISGUSTING PEOPLE!

Hobby lobby did not have exactly what I needed, but it had other items close to what I needed and so I bought those. I like the store it's will laid out, and the people there are very friendly. Also very helpful.

Staff is rude & unprofessional. They don’t honor prices shown on sign. I would take my business elsewhere.

Hobby lobby is great for all your projects! I think in some ways it's better than Joanns

This company has the most unprofessional practices. They definitely do not value customer service! If something is to difficult for them they will not make it a practice! Never leave your credit card there, if you do you will never know what happened with it, they will never have a record of it and they just don’t have time to think about it! Lazy!
