5 STARS, I had some issues with some low voltage lighting. I searched and had many people come out and try to repair. I went in today and talked to Eric and Kendall. All I can say is WOW. They are absolutely great. Kendall was very helpful and Eric was wonderful he walked me through everything and was very knowledgeable. Didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was bothering him. He even gave me a piece of wire that I needed. We need more businesses like this, very genuine and knowledgeable. Thanks for all the help guys. I’ll definitely recommend to anyone that needs anything lighting related.

The Hobrecht Team is top notch in many ways.
1. Incredible inventory, brands and options for many price ranges.
2. Knowledge, they know their lighting and can help with custom options, e.g. Color, paint, base plates, etc.if there’s a way, they will figure it out.
3. Problem solving, we purchased a beautiful fixture in the $$$$’s and as life happens, decided to adjust placement based on other variables including furniture placement, etc. The new placement did not suit the light which was heart breaking but I was prepared to spend more on a new fixture as CA law does not allow returns after a specific time period. The team at hobrecht came up with a solution that would allow the fixture to be custom adjusted and placed effectively in the new area. We love it!

A few things to note. This is a multiple generation owner operated store, they are a family oriented business and it shows in such a positive manner. They are impacted by the same supply chain issues that have affected virtually all industries, be patient. They’re busy, understand they are running a business and will prioritize the needs of their customers so treat them the way you would want to be treated.

We outfitted a 4500 sq ft home with multiple large scale fixtures. The biggest complement I believe a business can receive is if you will buy from them again. For us, I don’t envision going to any other lighting business as long as Hobrecht is around. Thank you Eric and team!

With so many good posts, I thought this would be a slam dunk. Took two lamps in to be fixed and was told they would be ready in a few days. I was later informed that it would be two weeks, not two days, where did I get such an idea that two days was correct. I called about 10 days later on a Friday and was assured that I would be called back in 1/2 hour for more information. Never got a call and still haven't received my lamps. I think I'll cancel my purchase of another light I ordered. Not worth it!

Large selection of light fixtures coupled with very helpful staff. Pricey, but there was a wide variety on offer. I highly recommend this retailer if you are looking for just the right piece.
