Hof's Hut Restaurant & Bakery reviews
11I’m feeling terrible about this post, I really enjoyed the Meatloaf meal I had the first time back after a long absence. Yesterday my wife and I stopped for pancakes, I ordered a cup of coffee and after I dressed it up with creamer and sugar, I turned the cup to grab hold of the handled and there was a big lipstick mark from the previous guess. With things being the way our lives have been turned around (Covid-19), and trying to get our lives back in order, a better system needs to be put into play as far as clean dishes! What if the previous guess was infected! What if they weren’t wearing lipstick!
Worst Hoff's hut restaurant ever not sure how many exist I come from Bixby Knolls location never ever had a problem I know this spot's been around for a while had me waiting a long time just to find out we were passed up not sure if it had to do with me being Hispanic definitely felt unwanted by my own people that help provide service never going back don't care about any Hofs hut ever!
Horrible service.waiter was rude.no refill.everything took forever I had to send back my omelet because it takes like rubber.to top it off the waiter lost another party credit card and came to check our table and under some of our plates.finally the owner of the credit card had to get up and look for it and found it by the register! Over all it was ab unpleasant outing to say the least
Always awesome! Amazing food, great service and better desert! Just wish we had one closer. Hello Hoff's Hut, open one in the high desert!
Love this place. Excellent breakfasts. And love their turkey dinner.it's like having Thanksgiving any day of the year.
It's a great family dinner style restaurant. Been going there for decades. The breakfast specials during the week are our favorite, you get perfect portions. Their bakery items are really tasty, some the best muffins you can get.
Service was at an all time slow low with our server repeatedly saying sorry. Not sure what all of the sorrys were for but was tired of hearing them. Never got refills on our drinks (water) and our silverware was tossed onto the table after we were seated. Our server lost the credit card for another table and was looking under our plates. Later found by customer under the cash register. By the time we got the ranch for the potato skins they were warm at best. I can't say enough about how slow the service. Almost seemed like our server was overwhelmed.
As for the food, the wife's Denver omelet was a complete failure. She had asked for the vegetables to be cooked extra soft and they were burned instead. The eggs were over cooked and rubbery. Ended up returning it for a simple country breakfast.
Sadly, won't be returning here anytime soon.
Not crowded at all. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We ate off the seasonal menu and I have to say that, lemon zest in pancake batter will probably be an absolute must for me from here on out. The chocolate trifle cake is always delicious!
Walked in and ordered 2 County Breakfasts to go. The person behind the pie counter- mmmm pies- took my order and was really nice. Food was ready in just a few minutes, portions were very nice, and my order was complete. Than she asked me if I needed any napkins or cutlery. Other restaurants rarely ask that. She was on it like Donkey Kong lol. I'll go back for sure.
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot neat at all times. Rates are reasonable and they serve generous portions.
We love Hofs Hut. I was raised in Long Beach but left 45 years ago. Every time I have the opportunity to be in LB I make sure to have the best burger and onion rings at Hofts.
