Hog Island Larkspur reviews
17Delicious! Order the crab roll you won’t regret it! Definitely coming back. Service was great food was perfect and fast!
This place is one signature fry dish away from being on a cable tv show.
No pics because the food was too good.
If you are looking for the best oysters in the bay, you cannot go wrong with Hog Island. Their Larkspur location is super cute with plenty of parking and mostly outdoor seating.
The oysters were fresh and bright. The Brussel sprouts are also highly recommended. The fish and chips are an off menu item but were our favorite of all the entrees we tried.
I love eating at this location! Delicious food, super fresh oysters, and a gorgeous outdoor seating area. The service is fantastic here as well, but there is often a wait for a table.
Googled "the best place for clam chowder in Marin County" and this popped up first. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing. Yes it's a bit spendy but totally worth it. Super upbeat and friendly staff.
Nice location, selection, and prices, less than what I expected. Great flavor. Very friendly and helpful employees. Fun to watch them shuck oysters.
Some of the best fish I've had in my entire life. The halibut with cream sauce is fantastic
Great drinks (try the holiday old fashioned) and food. The grilled oysters were my fav! Everyone was super attentive and helpful. Really enjoyed the experience.
This has been our go-to spot for many years. What can I say I love oysters.only one time they served one piece of dead oyster, the staff took that out of our bill. Thankfully the person who ate that didn't get sick.so it was all good.they should be more careful serving raw food. However, that doesn't stop us to going to this place. Steamed mussel bowl and their Rustic seafood stew are my favorite.
Just amazing! I was impressed by the casual atmosphere and the staff that made me feel at home. The food was delightful and my server Alie was just perfect. It was a great stop on my way home from business in Corte Madera. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
We came here by ferry to walk around a bit and have some lunch. Lots of nice shops friendly people and a pleasant atmosphere.
Accommodated a group of five for dinner
Outdoor seating great service from multiple attentive staff on a moderately busy Sat
night. Got 24 oysters mix which was really fresh and diverse.
Tasty dinner shared family style with a variety of flavors great after a long day of hiking!
Good food with a view of the parking lot. Unlike the Hog Island in Napa at the Ox Bow Market, you can not sit at the counter and watch them cook.
Rare find - seriously honest & fresh - where you can find state-of-art Clam Chowder with clams in shell, and the little one was observing the shells close enough to find “teeth” in it and screamed with ecstasy
We didn’t try raw Oysters today because of kid, but we sit by the Oyster Bar and had so much fun watching the skilled staffs open Oysters and smile at the good catch of the day.
Cod risotto with oyster mushroom was surprisingly good! Every ingredient was cared for perfectly - charred, creamy, and sweet - layers of new discoveries.
My friends liked it so I guess it was fine. If you don't like seafood, have the $25 burger
Oysters were phenomenal and our server Neema took great care of us even though the restaurant was packed. Will be back soon
There is a chain store here as well, so I stopped by this place while camping. I like raw oysters, but I wish I had steamed oysters on this day. House beer is too sour for me, so keep that in mind. The clam soup is still delicious~
