Hole Mole, Long Beach CA

Hole Mole is a decent beachy-tiki type space with outdoor seating, for an early (breakfast through lunch) meal, to me. I experience good customer service during my visit, a somewhat busy time. I order the Vegi Burrito which is very good. All non-Vegan ingredients are replaceable by Vegan ingredients like beans. I really enjoy my satisfyingly filling meal. I dine in with the burrito though think it may need more time on a grill/in a toaster oven to ensure it holds for anyone trying to save the burrito for later since the wrap is soft with juicy-mushy type ingredients. The sauce is more of a flavorful spicy than a hot-tingly spicy.

Don't order the fish taco if you really want to taste the fish, it's alot of batter and air no fish. Normally I tip but the cashier made me feel rushed and it was obvious that this was my 1st visit. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I'm left disappointed.

Food is ok but the girls working the counter have a stank attitude it makes the food bad lol

I've gone to another hole mole location and had a better experience in terms of food taste. Quality of ingredients was alright (tomatoes colorless, meat too chewy, onion too fibrous, and cilantro cut a little too chunky), and sauce could've been a bit spicier. Overall experience was average, probably wont return.

Good food, friendly service. Place could be cleaner, and they could have more drink options. Ice Tea machine was out, and it looks like it has been for a while.

But the food is the star here and definitely worth your time.

First of all, if you claim to sell good fish tacos, a yellow chile toreado is standard! These people charge.wac. They don't offer an option to change from corn to flour tortillas. I'm trying to figure out why this place is so popular.

They forgot to put my vegetables on the side I come from very far away because they're fish taco is the best

Love me some Taco Tuesday here at Hole Mole. I usually get the carnitas tacos with some Horchata. The fried yellow seasoned peppers are the BEST! Friendly hard working staff.

Bomb fish tacos if you’re in Long Beach area for a good price. They now have outside seating which is cool. Quick and good food.

Ordered and paid for rice and beans, but didn't receive them. Clerk was "chippy" and not friendly

I ordered a bean, rice and cheese burrito. The shell was crunchy and flakey as if it was old and the cheese was not melted. I also ordered a carne asada taco, the meat did not look or taste like carne asada, it looked like chuck beef.

Always good food and great service at this location. We order for take out often and everything is made quick and correctly!

Been coming here for years. My family loves their fish and shrimp tacos! Sometimes they are too busy but can't complain about that, I guess. Keep up the good work.

Nail in my burrito:
I've heard good things about this place, but upon taking my first bite I was greeted by the taste of cold steel. The burrito otherwise tasted very.off.
I wouldn't go back.
They offered to give me credit for a burrito next time and didn't even apologize. I wont be using that credit.

Really great place to go for a quick bite at a good price. I paid under $10 for my drink and 4 small (but not too small) tacos. I was suggested to have the chicken tacos by the cashier. She made a great suggestion! To-go packaging was sturdy and it only took about 8-10 mins for my order to be complete. They had indoors and patio space available. On the patio they do have heaters available for when it gets cold. Utensils were in the bag and they asked if you want green or red sauce when you order so you won't forget! The cashier was so sweet! Will be back when I go to medical appointments down that way. They have potato tacos for vegetarians too! Only suggestion I have is if you want more than one salsa, ask for it!

Best place to have mexican food at a decent price! Place is small but the food is great! Hate that they are not giving pico de gallo for free now.

My server was Eve and she was amazing! Got the carne asada tacos. Yummy! Their salsa was sooo good! You could actually taste the "smokey" flavor from the roasted peppers. And their yellow chilies.to die for.
