Holiday Inn Express Calexico, an IHG Hotel

I stay with Hilton and Marriot, so I thought I'd give this one a try, but this was such a big mistake they send me to room 117 after having a reservation weeks in advance to a room that smell like sewage, broken bathtub, and a broken AC system. It's 85 F inside this room. I have a meeting tomorrow and I won't be able to sleep well. I am going to make sure no one from my company books here again what a waste.

Broken bath tub, no hot water for two days plus bugs in my room everyday. Asked for points since work was paying for trip but never got points. Been 8 days since I checked out. Won't be staying here ever again.

We had to deal with insect in the room and when we went to complain the answer was nothing we can do about it we already have you AAA discount, I WAS SOOOOO CHOKED, I told the front desk I never asked for a discount, I’m complaining about the dairy room and she said the manger said they is nothing we can do about it, we asked to talk to the manger but the manger was tooo tired to come talk to us so she told the front desk for us to walk to her, she had nooo respect to us, honestly I have so much more to say I wish I can blow this up more because how disrespectful this management is, and they shouldn’t be working at a hotel because this place needs customers service and they know nothing about that.

Stayed out here on a work trip. Room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable, AC was perfectly cold, and it’s right next to an Applebee’s which made dinner easy. Would definitely recommend staying here, expectations were met.:)

The hotel itself was wonderful.
It was on my route from San Diego to Tucson so it worked out nicely. Great Mexican food just a few miles south.

The Place is super nice. They have Excelent coustumers service. Only we need umbrella s out side. Is so Hot.

Call to ask if the pool is clean and ready to use, I had to clean it myself. We made the best of it. I'm looking forward to an awesome breakfast tho.

Room we stayed in (117) had a horrible odor upon arrival, and the carpet was stained. When I went to turn the AC colder-the vent fell off. The tub was cracked and dirty. Checked in by approximately 1, and we left by 8 pm ish. No complaining -just left. Gross!

The room was clean and comfortable. The area has a shortage of hotel rooms and this hotel is one of the better options in town. The lot has plenty of parking and the hotel is clean.

This is great hotel. We needed a place for one night when traveling to Imperial Sand Dunes. The staff was super friendly and quick. The rooms are clean. Not luxurious, but comfortable mattress and pillows! Clean linens, stocked toiletries. The breakfast is great, lots of options and everything was fresh. The hallways had a slight musty smell, but the room didn’t. It looked like they were repairing a water line in the ceiling of the hallway on the 3rd floor so that may have been the source of the light odor. I would stay here again!

I was surprised that this hotel was as nice and clean as it was. It's right next door to an Applebee's, and the side road to get to it is bumpy and dusty. But despite that the service excellent, the room was very clean and not run down. The breakfast was amazing. I only wish that it was easier to get access. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 star rate.

This HI is new and in excellent condition. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very good.
The one disappointment was the TV channel selections. They're skimping on price by not including channels like CNN and MSNBC.

Calexico location fantastic place. It was very clean, breakfast was awesome, and the staff members were very friendly. Will be back
