Holiday Inn Express & Suites Belmont, an IHG Hotel

I travel for business and have tried many of the surrounding hotels but now this is my always "go to". There are the basics - clean - yes, friendly staff - yes, proximity to my needs - yes, quiet - yes.but then there is what puts this place above the rest - I love how they are prepared for my stay prior to my arrival, this makes check in so simple. I also love how the staff is consistent, to me that is a sign of good management and team that works well together. The staff may be above all the draw - the other day upon my check in the lobby was pretty full and the gentleman running the front desk was busy however he took a quick moment to acknowledge me. Yes that seems simple but it is no longer common and I appreciated that recognition. This is an easy comfortable place to stay with a staff that goes above and beyond.thank you!

Moderate experience overall. Units were mostly clean with some standing on the floors. There were a few bugs in the room that were a bit unpleasant but they weren't bed bugs or anything. Usb ports in the wall were. Thermostat was broken in the room So no heating or cooling. Took them two days of trying to fix the thermostat before they moved us into another room. Both refrigerators were excessively loud. Hotel was in a great location. Made it all worth it.

I would rate 0 star if I could. I stayed there last week on my company trip. The room was smelly and carpet was wet under the desk. The wetness spread out the next day and they switched me to another room. I thought the nightmare was over. But on the night before my check-out date, I discovered after returning from work that my invisalign retainer disappear (I always leave them on the vanity every morning since I only wear them at night. It was there all the time until that night). I guess they must have thrown it away when cleaning the vanity. I complained to the front desk and no apology given. I was told the cleaner denied that she threw/took anything. So I asked to speak to the supervisor there and she told me the same story and again, no apology given. So you left your belongings in the hotel and it disappeared and noone is responsible for that? This hotel can't be trusted! I just wish I did not allow them to enter/clean my room.

Great stay with helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Quite a few options for breakfast. Absolutely recommended!

I’ve stayed here regularly but infrequently for several years and had consistently good experiences. No Longer.

The room is awkward to use, as are most hotel rooms in one way or another, but spotlessly clean. All I really care about is a reasonably comfortable bed and a decent cup of coffee and breakfast first thing in the morning. Their little in-room Keurig coffee maker was broken. No luck there.

Breakfasts (and coffee too) in the past have been excellent. That seems to be a thing of the past. The coffee was dishwater, like what you get after accidentally running a Keurig twice on the same coffee pod. Scrambled eggs at hotels are rarely very good, but theirs are worse than average.

This isn’t an awful place, but you shouldn’t have to leave the hotel searching for a McDonald's to get a good cup of coffee and a McMuffin.

Comfortable stay, convenient location near the airport with loads of food options nearby.

Breakfast provided was decent with sufficient options.

The hotel was renovated and looked modern throughout. Our rooms were spacious and new, while being very basic. Staff was ok and the food was good.

Nice and affordable hotel close to the airport. Rooms are clean and large. The free breakfast is a nice bonus

Overpriced b for what you get. Room is okay but the breakfast was pretty sad. The eggs were very dry. Most of the time they didn't have orange juice. The coffee was burnt and the mattresses were too hard.

The worst hotel ive ever been to.
The room's smell stunk and that's kept me awake for the whole night. I went to the receptionist and he said this is the last available room

Comfortable room, great shower and breakfast was not bad either. My only complaint is that the fridge was not working.

It's a nice midrange hotel in a quieter part of the El Camino Real corridor. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast wasn't fancy but it was adequate. Would recommend.

Clean, clean, clean! I am a fanatic about cleanliness & this place was a #10. I was totally impressed!

I had no issues during my stay. Coffee and tea is available 24/7 in the lobby. You also have a Keurig in your room. Room was clean and neat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location wasn't bad either. 30 minute drive to Downtown San Francisco. And not even a 2 minute drive to the train station. Breakfast was ok, it's more then enough to get your day started.
