Holiday Inn Express & Suites Garden Grove-Anaheim South, an IHG Hotel

I liked the breakfast and coffee that was provided, they served a cold breakfast. We walked across the street and had a really good dinner. The room was comfortable and spacious enough, you could easily catch a bus from the hotel. The bellhop was very convenient and great for our luggage.

Secure parking in the back, nice shower but otherwise showing it's age. They said that a remodel is coming soon.

The only disappointment is that you have to clean your own room and dump the trash, no room service.

This hotel is.fine. Not great, not terrible. Fine. Comfortable bed, clean room. Decor was sparse, not as "put together" as most Holiday Inns. Grounds were a bit overgrown. Staff was friendly enough, and efficient. Location is fine, but not great. Again. It's just fine. If you need a place to put your head at night, it's less expensive than some in the area, but it's not somewhere you'd say, "I can't wait to go back there! "

I myself do not rent a room there. But I went and visited my friends that were renting a room there and it was very nice place. Like very clean very presentable very sanitary. I think it was definitely a place I would go stay.

Beds and rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Plenty of towels and also has iron and board, with blow dryer in bathroom.

Very nice place. Close to the 22,5, and 405 freeways to get you anywhere in SoCal. Price for the room is good but watch out for the California add-on charges. Makes you think highway robbery is no longer illegal.

Friendly and efficient staff. Room was sleek and efficient. There is plenty of parking behind the building, accessible only through a security gate that you use the room key card to open. You also need your key card to open the exit gate, so don't leave all of them in your room when you check out. (There's a drop box by the gate sensor.)

The Holiday Inn Express in Garden Grove is such a great place to stay. Every employee at this hotel has the absolute best customer service! From the moment I arrive they always are very friendly and very attentive with a warm welcome. I feel very comfortable knowing I am in a very safe and clean environment. Management, hotel personnel and housekeeping go above and beyond to make their customers happy.

Its an old building now. Staff was alright. Quiet place. 8 don't know probably would choose somewhere else given the opportunity

First room was not cleaned (hair in the bathtubs), moved to second room - bathtub did not drain well, internet password didn't work. They didn't change sheet or clean room for the whole stay "due to covid " policy, whatever it was. Btw, room charges were for the 3-star rating but the rating should be 1 star. Not happy at all.

This hotel is extremely accommodating and has a great ambiance that you can feel relax and comfortable to stay with. I highly recommend this to all my friends. Thanks a lot!

I booked a room for smoking, according to dayuse.com. When I checked out I was charged a smoking fee. Also the room smelled like cigarette smoke so I did not think nothing of it anyway. This charge happened 2 days after check out. I called to speak with the manager and I was denied. The desk person was rude and argued about me speaking with the manager. BEWARE the hotel will charge you after you have left the hotel, and that is so you can not dispute the charges.
