Holiday Inn Los Angeles - LAX Airport, an IHG Hotel reviews
16I sincerely appreciate Shane and the Housekeepers, especially Carlos who was very professional and nice! The room was exceptionally clean and neat! All my concerns were addressed, all my questions answered, I was taken care and I would definitely recommend the property.
The hotel is Just ok. Price is acceptable. They have a shuttle serving from the Airport. For one night is ok. No more than that
Such an amazing experience after a very stressful day the shuttle pick me up, Melissa was so helpful at the front desk making sure that I got into my room.room was clean and perfect for the night.
Decent hotel, near to the airport with free shuttle service (to and from the airport) provided by the hotel scheduled every 30 mins.
Aside from the lack of complimentary breakfast and atrociously outrageous parking fees, Sam the security guard made our stay worthwhile. Would definitely revisit solely because the service from all of the employees was excellent.
Stay for four days. It very basic just what you need to get by. I didnt have any bed bugs. I was on the 11th floor facing the gas station. It was okay. Cleaning staff was nice. The front desk person seemed stoned but we had a smooth check in. Very busy place. They do have luggage storage available and shuttles to and from airport. Uhm don't go out at night we walked into a stand off by accident I almost got shot. And McDonald's is always busy so traffic kind of gets in the way of pick up and drop offs. They have a over price breakfast in the am which is alright.
Disappointing experience. Expensive breakfast. Dirty carpets along corridors and in room. Poorly made beds, not worth the nightly rate charged. Also Guest representative staff unfriendly.
While staying at this property I was at the designated smoking section the hotel has for the guest where I was robbed by a homeless man police were called got my purse back but no wallet as for the actions from the hotel they did not help at all, they weren’t willing to look at any video footage recorded by there cameras also the man was not banned or trespassed by the hotel there for becarful if yuh stay here you can be next
Its an old hotel in need of some refurbishment. The room was adequate, the restaurant was good, they have a bar. The room was clean. It was fine for the 1 night i needed it for a stop over but i don't recommend it for a lengthy stay.
All the stars I'm giving this hotel are due to the ride from and to the airport and the cafeteria staff. Nevertheless, despite having a nice lobby and facade, the rest of the hotel looked really old. We had a non-smoking room and yet, the smell was too intense. We also didn't have tissues or extra toilet paper. The housekeeper was kind enough to spray some fabreeze in the beds but I wish we had use our travel reward in a place that felt more rewarding.
Old building apparently not been renovated for a long time in the middle of the night they hit the phone on my room and then blocked my secretary to the room to make sure I didn't smoke inside the room as the corridor smelled of smoke and it turned out that one of the adjoining rooms was smoking I'm sorry about what happened I woke up, why?
Hotel was fine but the airport shuttle was terrible. No gauge on timing, no schedule. Very difficult to plan for. If you chose this place for ease of access to/from the airport, either call an Uber or change your hotel.
The hotel was convenient because it was near the airport. There are no resort fees and the parking was $20 for the day unlimited times in or out. It was also convenient for us because traveling distance was in the middle of Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier, San Diego and la Joya.
We were told breakfast was until 12pm and when we went at 1130am we were told it was only until 1030am. The next day we went about 10am. The menu was decent but the food was not all that. The eggs were done on the spot aswell as waffles. The sausage and potatoes were cold. My boyfriend got an omelet and felt nauseous. Never again went back for breakfast.
If you need house keeping you gotta let them know before 12pm and then you have to leave for 3 hrs. We didn't have any issues as we were gone all day.
They have a "convenient store" available.
The room was clean nice and comfortable. Sadly on the last day my boyfriend noticed there were some black stains in the toilet. It was disgusting, it was mildew all over the toilet bowl. Wouldn't had used that bathroom or stayed there without complaining.
The Room seemed cleaned and sanitized, bed linens looked fresh. I took a nap & woke up itching! BED BUGS! Disgusting! To add insult to injury “management” did absolutely nothing for me except offer another room. Very disappointed in this Holiday Inn & I will be writing a formal letter & plan on taking this further.
Good Food good service! And I love it that they had the fight Wilder/Fury III on at the hotel bar
