The hotel is located in a quiet out of the way area. We got there later in the evening so I never took in the gym/pool area.
We started out in 1 room that had a malfunctioning heater and one of the (only 2) small desk lamps was missing the knob to turn it on. Cold and dark at $200 a night? !
They switched us to the room across the hall. Much better! Only. The curtains were FILTHY, the carpet does that thing where it kinda bunches up in certain areas, we found a pair of glasses under one of the beds that didn't belong to us, and the art prints on the walls were the exact same. When I looked up in the bathroom I could see that there was a fan and I couldn't find a single switch to turn that on?

To many the identical art prints is nothing to note, only it really makes a person feel as though they really don't care what the room looks like from a guests perspective. It's lazy interior design when you know that they have more than one particular print to hang for visual interest in the guest rooms.

I know —given everything else THAT'S what my brain chose to fixate on.

At least the beds were warm and comfy.

Room was nice, clean and spacious. Couple things worth noting. Sink drain is clogged and barely drains. Kind of gross when you brush your teeth and the water drains so slow. Ceiling are very thin. I heard every foot step above me and I’m sure everyone below me heard ours. Recommend top floor. No continental breakfast. If you want to eat, you’ll have to pay.

When the shuttle was unavailable, the hotel called a Lyft. They were so apologetic yet so helpful. This is an outstanding location with outstanding service.

Worse experience ever! Don’t waste your money or time, quality over quantity & I should’ve known that before I booked here! Stayed one night & somebody tried to break into my car, left door handle is almost hanging off my car, went to front desk to speak to a manager & apparently there isn’t one on the premises, GO FIGURE! I got maybe 4 hours of sleep BC I couldn’t close the blinds so the sun was beaming right into the room! They charge a $150 incidental fee which is outrageous for a 2 hotel

Everything was clean. The room was spacious. I really liked the little convenience store in the lobby. I just have two minor complaints.

1. We could hear the snores and talking from next door.
2. The carpet made my feet itchy. I regret forgetting my flip flops.

Rooms need to be updated. I could not find stairs to go from second to first floor. Good customer service and fast check in.

While upon arrival, they ignored, completely ignored the phones, especially when my employer was trying to call in to straighten out a credit card authorization form! I had to tell the guy to answer the phone because he didn’t care if it was ringIng! The first lady rep at the desk couldn’t even find a prior authorization card sent over a week ago prior to our stay! Customer service was poor! Our company spent hundreds of dollars to stay there for two
days for four employees. Every service there required a credit card and I only use cash so whether you were trying to grab a water from their little mini store or trying to have a drink at the bar or charging you $18 for a Buffet breakfast in the morning instead of complementary, was just absolutely ridiculous! We were there for the 2022 Ontario truck show at the Ontario Convention Center, and I will recommend that my company never stays at that Holiday Inn ever again!

Considering the price and the 3-star rating, this place disappointed. Site and room were nice, etc, but the network is terrible, I technically "connected" but the bandwidth was awful, I had to switch to my phone's hotspot to get any work done. You can't watch TV without doing a weird log-in through your phone (is this standard nowadays? Not in any major chain hotel I've stayed in recently) My time here just wasn't smooth and therefore lacked pleasantness.

I left a 5 star review upon check out. Sadly things have changed. I now have x3 unexplained charges to my bank account which are unaccounted for according to Melissa who I spoke to this morning. She hung up on me because she “had other customers” and at that point I should have been placed on hold for a manager. I called back 2 times and was hung up on each time. During our initial conversation I informed her there were BED BUGS IN ROOM 158. She did not care. She kept requesting my email to send me her invoice showing no other charges but my bank statement shows otherwise that I have x3 new charges from Holiday Inn Ontario. I have a video of how I left the room upon checking out, accounting for towels and toiletries. I also have taken pictures of all of the bed bug bites on my body and my 8 year old. We had to come home bag ALL OF OUR CLOTHES AND NOW I HAVE TO HAVE MY HOME EXTERMINATED AND STEAMED. This stay has been very costly to me and was not worth the trip. We stayed from Friday night to Sunday morning. The maid was rushing us out of the room at 10: 50am even though the night before I called to request late check out because we wanted to enjoy the pool before we left. I’m very dissatisfied with the customer service and care. I won’t be staying here again.

Comfortable and quiet. Spacey. Wish towels would be changed daily without having to request. Booked 4 rooms for 7 days.

This location is in need of some basic maintenance. Otherwise it is a pleasant place to stay. The staff is great.

Rooms were quiet and the AC did a nice job keeping up with what was a hot few days. The staff was all very nice, helpful, and easy to find when needed. The attached restaurant, though pricey, is good for a meal and the location is near a bunch of restaurants and the airport!

Duane at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. Room and bed where a welcome relief after a long week. Room was clean and bed was firm enough. Great place to stay for airport access or just needing a nice place.

The worst sofa bed! I'm only giving this review in regards to the sofa bed that I slept in. The rest of the hotel is a 5 star.
So I arrived at the hotel at 3: 15pm asking if I could do an early check in. They said that the rooms with 2 queens were not currently ready. I told the lady in the front desk that I would be back late and asked if I could check in. She said no problem, whenever you come back we will check you in. So my mom, sister in law, niece and myself arrived at the hotel at 11: 45pm and checked in. The lady on the desk said you have been upgraded to a suite. We were excited about that until we entered the room and saw only one bed we check to see if the sofa had a bed in it, which it did. Well the big deal here is that the mattress on the sofa was terrible, all I could feel were springs pressing against my 120lb body. Whenever I turned you could hear the loud noise of the springs. And I could not sleep all night. That was the worst soda bed I've ever slept on. I wish they would read this so they can change those set of springs into an actual matress.

Very limited staff. In the dining cafe and bar there was one bartender who took care of taking orders, serving and bartending. We waited from 30 minutes to 45 minutes to get a gin and tonic and a Cosmo. Not quite sure he was a true bartender because he wanted to make the Cosmo with Gin.

Very bad customer service, Check in at 4: 00 pm and check out at 6: 00 pm. Our room AC wasn’t working talk with them 3 times they said some will be there to fix it, in 2 hours nobody came to fix it or neither they offer other room. Outside temperature was 100F and they refused to refund as well.

There is a RAVE going on so access is restricted. Police will route you in circles. But decent hotel nevertheless. Right at the airport and convention center. So book accordingly.

My husband and and I recently stayed here and had a very poor experience! Our bed had a big slump on the right side of the mattress, the bathroom door squeaked very loud each time it was opened, the tv did not work, and the night manger Jasmin was very RUDE. She was of no help at all. She did not try to help solve any of our issues. I called 3 Times from the room phone at 11: 30 PM and got no answer to the front desk. I then called the front desk with my cell and it was answered immediately, by Jasmin. I told her about the issues that we were having and she said she did not know how to use the TV then hung up on me. I then went down to the front desk to see if I can speak to a manager, and found out that Jazmin is the manager. Nothing was solved, she was rude the entire time. You would think a manager would be professional enough to help address one of the issues, offer a room change, or even know how to work the TV. We ended up checking out and going to the Hilton next-door, where we were very satisfied!

We asked to be notified when our room was available (we got there early) and we never received a text, when we were told we would. We were very tired from travel and wanted to relax. When we asked for assistance from the front desk we were met with impatience several times. However, the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful!
