Holiday Inn Resort the Lodge at Big Bear Lake, an IHG Hotel

Went to Stillwell's to see my friend Alec play for new years eve. The staff tolerated my bad jokes and poured liquor down my throat.

Our car broke down on the mountain and we were towed here and trapped in a snow storm.
The front desk man said they had no rooms left which is understandable because it's a holiday but he was horrible and snappy and in our face. I contacted HR in the lobby when he left and they said there was nothing they could do so we're going to have to walk in an hour walk through a snow storm to try another hotel because he keeps threatening to kick us out and throw us into the snow especially after he said he had already done it to 5 other families. This is extremely unprofessional and inhumane.

I just stayed here with my family for two nights and for those two nights I could not sleep because the mattress was like a gym mat. The WORST mattress I’ve ever slept on. I asked if they had a topper to make the mattress softer and they only offered me a comforter to lay on top of the bed - which did absolutely nothing. Do not stay here if you want to have a full night’s rest. Or do if you enjoy back pain.

The hotel is ok but staff is not up to standards.
They lied abt free breakfast. First while booking they said it’s included but later in the morning they refused.

Nice location close to the sky resort and a lake. Adequate room size. Almost full Irish breakfast. Interesting combination of authentic and modern details. Rest area with aero hockey, billiard table and few other video games including Donkey Kong machine
From the down side strange policy to provide just 2 breakfast coupons for a single room disregarding actual number of guests. However this nonces easy solvable at reception.

Great location! Clean room BUT… the room is not quiet. We were staying on 2nd floor and we heard all the stumbling steps from the hallway and room above us. So annoying.
The restaurant in the hotel is unprofessional. We went there for breakfast. It’s buffet but they left the trays empty. The plates are so dirty. I grabbed one plate to put some food on and noticed that the plate was still wet with some water and grease. I tried to find a clean plate but the whole stack was dirty! There was even some food still stick on some plates! Really disappointed

We had a pleasant stay at The Lodge Holiday Inn over a weeknight in Big Bear. Fantastic facility with cozy and clean rooms, staff is helpful and kind.

Room had a large fridge, microwave, good TV with access to a variety of channels including the World Cup, fireplace and clean bathroom. Fresh water located in the lobby during certain hours.

Location is supreme, next to village shops and eateries, 7 min from Fox Farm
Parking for Big Bear Resort skiing & snowboarding.

Over a weekday, the atmosphere is very laid back! Recommend to anyone looking for a good night’s rest.

Friendly staff. Night before check out i called the frobt desk abd asked for late check out and the front reception guy said he couldn't extend it and need to call housekeeping the day of check out after 7a which also kinda affects the purpose of late check out when one wants to sleep in. He didn't seem to know much. Called front desk the next morning and got later check out.

Also the door to the parking lot slams shut and heard every person who left. That exit door needs a slow and quiet spring shut mechanism.

It's close to restaurants and shops.

This lodge is walking distance from all the shops in downtown yet is peacefully quiet. We stayed in a suite that faced the lake and loved our fireplace and hot tub!

Close to Big Bear village, comfortable bed, has microwave and keurig coffee maker and small fridge, pool and restaurant, I would stay there again, not to mention reasonable room rate and free parking.

Until electrical was shut down hot water run out had to take a cold shower in the morning no one advise the hotel guest
ask front desk person when their would be any hot water and if they where going to adjust stay price
We can't doing nothing about it. They should of had some Compensation for the inconvenience. Bad customer service

Not exactly sure why you claim to be pet friendly when you change 150.00 extra above your already high rates for our 6lb pup. Sounds a bit pet unfriendly to me. Best to advertise "no pets allowed", I would think.

Good location right on the end of the village. Would have been all five stars but ants invaded my open soda overnight. Lesson learned, don't leave food out. The staff was great.

Arrived with reservations and received the wrong room. Finally got to the right room and the blinds were broken. The old hotel is not worth the money.

This hotel is convenient and close to shopping center. The rooms are abit outdated. But the price is reasonable.

Within easy walking distance of shops in dining on Village Drive. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful in finding a place I wanted to go to.

Room was good, but, leaking tap (which when report staff were quick to address) and the coffee / tea ratio to milk was rather silly i.e. More milk needed. Service was great booked in and booked out with no issues. The location is great for big bear village and a short walk to the Lake

It's a pretty relaxing hotel, they have an arcade that opens at 9am and closes at 10pm, the pool wasn't deep but I guess it's for safety measures, the interior has like a cabin like vibe to it matter in fact every building and home in this city is built like a cabin it gives it like a nice gravity falls type of vibe, however the toilet didn't work properly so we were moved to another room with a free balcony no extra charge, and the jacuzzi was piping hot but I bet it would be epic during winter in the jacuzzi so overall it's a pretty good experience.
