Holiday Inn San Jose - Silicon Valley, an IHG Hotel

Beware parking here. My car was in the parking garage about a month ago and my window got smashed in my vehicle. After notifying the hotel they it didn't seem as if they cared. They need security

We called the business directors to make arrangements for our staff to stay there while working in the area. The original staff was great to work with and held up their end of the bargain. New management came in and would no longer honor our agreement. They turned our employees away as they were checking in with nowhere to stay while working in the area. Would do nothing to help them at all. Reported it to IHG and they just went along with what the new management said. Very very poor business and we will never ever have our group stay there again.

Great place for out of town relatives. Holiday Inn J Bar relatives the VIP treatment! They had a very enjoyable stay @ Holiday Inn!

Room was OK. Clean and comfortable. My wife wanted to swim in the morning before we left. Too bad. Pool doesn't open until 10. Charged more than $7 for the worst coffee out of a machine. Went downstairs to buy coffee because the coffee machine in the room malfunctioned twice. My wife said the coffee from downstairs tasted like chicken soup. No restaurant on premises. Only a do it yourself snack bar with food that was way over priced. Neighborhood not very good. Went out to the dirtiest Denny's we have ever been to. Police had a pedestrian pulled over for some reason. Motel next to Holiday Inn boarded up. There must be better choices than this Holiday Inn. Worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at.

Clean rooms. I stayed over a weekend here in Holiday Inn. Place was calm and peaceful. There is good place to sit and chill outside the room if we plan to hangout and chat for sometime.

For such a well to do place, I'd expect at least a continental breakfast. Concierge service, something extra that sets the hotel apart from the cheaper hotels. The rates are competitive but yet it seems like something's missing from my experience. I just feel like I'm supposed to receive more out of my stay there. Otherwise the rooms are very clean, comfortable and updated so no orange or pea green bedspreads. The wheelchair accessible rooms are also nice enough with huge beds. Thanks though for the excellent customer service, that I do appreciate.

Front desk dose a wonderful job. How ever the rooms are bad. Shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they opened. Moved rooms and other room was dirty as well.

Nice beds but not clear on charges. Held a bed with credit card but they did not explain this was only to hold it. My guest had to pay when they got there.

Always smells like seawer. Other than that very standard. Boyfriend got an upgrade for using his points but when I called to ask for late check out yesterday, service desk wasn't the nicest. Sounded like she was in a hurry. But hotel was good over all.

Nice hotel. Although, the pool gym and restaurant was closed. I understand it is because of covid so I'm not knocking them for it. What I am knocking them on it the bizarre room layout. I had the executive king room and it was laid out so strangely. The microwave was on the desk even though there was a wet bar with plenty of room for the microwave. The refrigerator is under the tv even though there is a cabinet in the wet bar for it. The bathroom door is 25 inches wide which means if you are broad shouldered or a large person, you aren't getting in the bathroom. The closet is in the bathroom. The bathroom is large and there's plenty of room to put a regular size door on another wall. There's a lounge at the end of the bed but a completely uncomfortable corner piece for what looks like a sectional couch. The room is so large it just doesn't make any sense. There was no hot water whatsoever and the toilet would consistently not flush. The bed was super comfortable so I guess there's that. Again, nice hotel but the rooms need to be re-evaluated.

This hotel is one of my favorites! Not only because it is inexpensive, but also because the ambiance is really soothing! They still have a fantastic crew! This hotel comes highly recommended by me to everyone looking to relax!

They denied me a 3 night stay because the card used wasn't in my name and didn't have a chip.

If I had rented the room for another person, how can this " policy " be sufficient?
Plus I booked it through Priceline, a week after I booked another room at a different location 5 days earlier.same card.
Same identification.
Ubered there and walked back just to find out I won't get refunded back 5 to 10 business days.

This was 3 hours ago.

The interior furniture was so elegant and high-class. We didn't regret our decision of staying at your place, guys! Until next time! Strongly recommended!

We really like the Holiday Inn. Cant wait for the food service to open back up. Miss yhat part of thehotel experience.

Staff is very accommodating. Parking is $13 per night. Dog fee is $25 per night. Tons of renovations being done but pool, bar, restaurant are not available.

I didnt like the emplyees keeping track of who goes to my room. They did not once tell me anything but told my guests some ***
