Holiday Inn & Suites Silicon Valley - Milpitas, an IHG Hotel reviews
15We came for a 49er game from az and this hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful. All of them! The food was amazing. The bar and fireplace topped it off! We stayed 5 days and it was worth every penny.
Good location but won’t stay here again. Rooms look old, towels very few, curtains are weirdly colored, and lights are dark.
DO NOT EAT AT RESTAURANT DOWNSTAIRS FOR BREAKFAST. The serving feels sad, I ordered the soy egg rice which had one hard boiled egg, some rice, and cabbage that did not seem to have any flavor!
ALSO there is a parking fee of 15 a night!
10/10 not coming back
The pool is closed. The gym is small. And there are no snacks in the room or microwave. There is a picture with a snack bool but not in here. There is a hidden parking fee. And there is a wifi fee
Unfortunately, when we checked into the room, the floor carpet near the window was wet. I noticed a few sanitary issues, such as the table surfaces were not cleaned thoroughly. I am an elite member of the Holidays Inn, and I will not come to this location.not very clean.
Front desk was extremely rude upon check in. She just stuck out her hand and said, “Card” like I was a dog or something. Extremely upsetting but I wouldn’t be able to get a refund on this place anyway. Girlie, learn to not have an attitude. It isn’t cute or funny. She didn’t even explain the deposit charges until I asked. She then looked at me like I was an idiot and walked away like she had better things to do while I was transferring the funds into my account because I wasn’t notified of the parking and deposit charges before booking. Terrible experience overall. Would most likely never book here again. (Btw this is about the girl with reddish brown hair and obviously fake blue contacts). Please either find another job or go through training again:)
Rooms are OK. Service and front desk folks can be a little bit more friendly! Location wise, it's convenient to get to restaurants and shopping.
Shopping n restaurants very close by.
Jesus n Rita were very cheerful at check-in. Irene gave us some yummy choco chip cookies after dinner time n they were spot on.
Maria was very friendly n helpful with info on area.
The housekeeper on 2nd floor made sure we had everything we needed for our couple day stay.
Jesus even brought us a new microwave for our room
I guess hotels no longer use disposable hygiene products for their guests. It's a good thing I brought my own. The communal toiletries in the shower had someone else's public hair on them. Absolutely disgusting. That means they most likely didn't even clean the shower. We couldn't get the lights to work. And our room wasn't even ready when it was supposed to be. My family will be chosing a different hotel next time. It's also kind of sad no one has breakfast anymore.
Let me keep it simple, “non-smoking room” that smelt like cigarettes and bedbug infestation.
Please do yourselves a favor and avoid this hotel.
Decent place. Nice staff. A little sad the resturant inside was not open for dinner, but there was a limited breakfast menu.
Please save yourselves money, trouble and BEDBUG BITES by staying anywhere else instead. By far the worst Bay Area hotel I’ve stayed at, and when we brought this up with the front desk, they didn’t even offer an apology? !
Super clean, astoundingly delicious ala carte breakfast entrees you can pre purchase with your stay, and a delightful staff. Sadly the rooftop bar and dinners are gone (thanks covid) but this place is worth staying. I’ve stayed at IHG all over America and this one is at the top of my list. I was here four days and loved it. Thanks. (Please change all room light bulbs to LED, at once). The CFL are energy hogs—not sure how you missed this memo.
The Holiday Inn brand is really downgrading. This is another property with a few nice things but generally a mid to low level hotel.
Pros:
Wifi worked well my entire stay. Small fridge in room. Shower pressure.
Cons:
Insanely poor design of the room layout. When you walk in and open the front door you hit the bathroom door and have to reach around to close the bathroom and closet doors before you can even enter the room. Its insane how badly this was planned and how much it makes the room unusable. Poor customer service. They willnot allow food deliveries to your room. Elevators need to be updated. Desk chair in room falls apart. Iron and ironing board are not usable. The soap and shampoo dispensers are comically broken and unusesab.
I would not stay at this location again. You get a much better experience at the Marriott properties.
I was very impressed with how clean and how well it smelled inside. It was SO pleasant.
That night and the next day I understood why they had it smelling so sweet and good. They must have a water treatment plant near by or something unpleasant smelling. But that was not an issue while inside the building. I will be going back if I ever need to stay out that way again. I will also recommend this place. Staff was very nice. Always welcomed us back. Hands down 5 stars
