Holloway's Marina & RV Park, Big Bear Lake CA

Everyone was very friendly, the park was very clean. When we go again we would pick a premium spot instead of standard so we have more room even though we have a smaller trailer.

We rented a large premium luxury pontoon boat on Aug 5,2020. The boat was everything that was advertised, and the young man acclimating us to the boat was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful morning and great experience, and would certainly rent from them again. Thank you Holloway!

We visited Big Bear again in August of 2022 and rented a large premium luxury pontoon boat from Holloway's. We again had a great experience, although it rained for 1/2 the time we were out on the lake! It made for a unique adventure. The boat was clean and functioned just as it should have for us. Thank you again Holloway!

I thought this place was in a great location of Big Bear Lake. Close to shops and a walk to the marina. The two ladies at the office were very nice and ready for us upon arrival. Some key things to remember, 1.) concur with other reviews we have a 31FT TT it’s tight and yes close to neighbors if we had some. As far as amenities the bath house is clean. But if you are looking for more kid friendly things to do this might not be the spot. This time of the year they are closing up for the winter so it was nice and quiet I could see that in the prime time of the year it could get real busy here. 2.) Lake is down from what I was told at least 18ft. So no water side view. Watch your little puppies there are bobcats in the early morning. Otherwise a great little campground.

Great staff boat was a bit older but ran perfect and I chose economy so expected older in the fleet. Engine was newer than boat and steering/ throttle were spot on. Great way to experience Big Bear from on the lake.
Rv spot overlooked lake and was well worth getting premium site.

We had our 3 and 6 year old sons with us and they truly had a blast! I was very uneasy about being out on the boat with them for 3 hours but Austin, our guide, was terrific and made it so fun for them! They each caught two fish and we kept two and brought them home to eat! We have nothing but good things to say about Austin! Ask for him next time you schedule your fishing trip! He was knowledgeable, friendly, great with our kids, patient, and explained everything. We went from 4: 30-7: 30 and had multiple bites! Best time to go, hands down.

Perfect little tour of Big Bear Lake on their 6 person pontoon boat. Holloway's staff is very professional and my wife and I (with the puppy) will definitely return when we come visit again.

Love this place, we will be back. The staff is super helpful and friendly. There is REAL customer service here. Their hook ups are perfect. It is in a beautiful setting with great facilities.

We chartered a Fishing trip with Big Bear Charter Fishing out of Holloways Marina. Austin was our fishing guide. The pontoon boat was perfect and comfortable. We caught 7 beautiful rainbow trout in the 3 hour trip. They provided us with snacks and drinks. Austin was a skilled fisherman and made everything look easy. He even cleaned all the fish for us. They also allowed us to bring our Yorkie aboard. This was a excellent trip and would highly recommend to anyone that wants to go fishing.

Well do not call and ask questions. The lady on the phone was the rudest person I have ever spoken with. Their website was not providing pricing information so I called to ask simple rate questions and I’m sorry. Will never be bringing business here.

Nice RV campsite next to a Marina. Spaces are a good size and friendly staff. To get to downtown (Pine Knot) we used bikes (about 2 miles on side roads) but there is a free shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes. It's quiet during the week but weekends are busy as expected in most RV parks. They seem to keep the park divided with long term RVers in one side and short term on the other side. WiFi where we were was ok for email and web browsing. We'll probably stay here again.

Great experience! We rented a small standard pontoon for two hours. We checked in early and talked with the check in staff through the best routes for fishing and time expected to go around the lake. The party before us came in late so Holloway’s upgraded to us to a large luxury boat. Service from Moe was excellent as he walked through how to drive the boat and where to return the boat. Wish we had more days in Bug Bear so we can spend a whole day fishing on the boat!

Rented a pontoon boat over the weekend and had an incredible time out on the water. Adrian was super helpful at the dock and gave us some extra tips for our voyage. One of the girls inside was not so helpful (can’t remember her name but she had an accent) then left us for a little on-shift smoke break outside. She started arguing with us for no reason and another female employee stepped in to politely answer our questions. Otherwise, a really good time.

Amazing customer service from all the staff but one employee stuck out from all Josh Soffer is the man!

Our 2 night stay was good. The location was clean, everyone was friendly. The spot was a little tight and real close to our neighbors. Our trailer is 26' long. We thought the spot would be overlooking the actual lake but it's really close to it, as well as the Marina. We rented a pontoon boat for 2 hours. We loved it. Although it was nice and clean, I think we will try to stay elsewhere on our next Big Bear Lake trip.

Wonderful experience! We've rented with them twice now over the last couple of years. Friendly, great service, competative pricing, will def rent from them again.

Captain Kenny gives you an almost 2 hour tour of Big Bear Lake, complete with history and unique stories. Kids pretend to be pirates with plastic swords and receive a nice "tattoo". Refreshments available for free. Just a nice relaxing trip.
