Gym Hollywood Boulders reviews
14HUGE (way too expensive for day pass holy moly) fantastic and has tons of routes for all levels of experience. I'm a very intermediate climber but was able to cram 9 v3s into a day. Wonderful environment.
Not very inviting friendly for first timers. I'm serious about climbing, just stopped by since I was around the area.
I'm OK with there rates.no problem, but requested a free day pass to feel the place. They didn't want to give it. I'll go some place else. Nowadays looks like some businesses are just doing you a favor to give you service.
Thanks.
Fantastic staff! Great bouldering courses! Lots of useful facilities and a full calendar of worthwhile classes & events. The attached parking lot is quite small (room for under 20 cars) but it’s not very difficult to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Definitely my preferred gym for climbing in the Hollywood area.
Excellent bouldering gym. Full workout area with lots of training equipment and a plethora of routes for all abilities.
Refreshments and snacks available as well as retail merchandise.
Decent parking.
Convenient location.
Great vibes all around.
Love all the touchstone gyms.parking is most difficult for this gym but staff and facilities are great!
Been going here for a while, friendly staff, great challenges, clean and welcoming environment. You’re in for a good climb
Favorite of the touchstone gyms I’ve tried (cliffs of Id and la boulders). Great staff, great people, great problems. They reset sections every Friday so there’s always something new.
I am a beginner climber and had fun here. The staff were friendly. There were lots of beginner wall options. Most were still quite a challenge.
There’s only bouldering, no ropes. It’s cool that they have a gym as well. The bathrooms are beautiful. I would go again if it were in the budget.
Exceptional bouldering gymnasium with an absurd quantity of super bouldering routes. Caters to all stages.also has health gadget, weights, and many others.clean, spacious, lots of natural mild. I also cherished the music they have been playing. Went for a day when i was travelling l.a. However I’d actually be a member if I lived within the location.if you’re in any respect into mountaineering or need to get into it, you higher check this region out!
Went in January, awesome gym, good variation of walls, cool staff, lots of walls, good equipment upstairs and I met some cool people to climb with:) (also cool merch)
Staff is really friendly! I love this gym, I love the routes, and I love the view! Biggest downside is that you can't link a credit card to your account - it has to be debit or directly from your bank account. Also, it can get pretty crowded during peak hours.
Spacious, nice amenities, and great music. Always plenty of climbs and features. My favorite bouldering gym in LA
It was a great experience, the place was very clean. The little gym setup upstair and downstair was a nice addition. The parking lot can be tough if you go during busy time.
Great climbing, and the best actual gym options of the Touchstone gyms (they have an outdoor gym area with plenty of space, so it gets less crowded than LAB or Cliffs). Good routes, friendly staff. Parking is the only major downside. It's pretty terrible.
