Hollywood Improv Comedy Club reviews
30Very fun, small and personal venue and some great acts. Live entertainment beats sitting at home streaming. This is as good as it gets!
Saw this show while in town last night. So good! You can get a cocktail or a beer in their neat little bar before the show which we liked. The comics were fresh and all different but funny. They included the audience but did not humiliate. Overall a great time.
Myself and my wife went their for our anniversary. One of the Best Shows I have ever been to. First of all ticket prices are pretty cheap $15. Worth every penny! All the Comedians were great! 90 minutes went just like that. Entire show we were laughing. I would definitely go again and again. Theater seats only about 30 - 35 people so get there early.
Hilarious! We came on Los Angeles Eve and had such a great time. We really didn't know what to expect but it was easy to get in and seated and the show was great. It went by too fast!
My Wife and I was here in early July of 2019 and had seen Arsenio Hall. However while we were there we experienced 1 of 5 earthquakes. The room moved and shifted.it was crazy. We had heard of the California Quakes but never experienced them. That was crazy. Despite it all we enjoyed ourselves. We cant wait to come back for more laughs.
Comedian was sporadically funny. Food ok but pricey and doesn't at all resemble what it's supposed to be. I ordered a Banh Mi sandwich that tasted and looked nothing like a Banh Mi sandwich is supposed to. Service was slow. Beer was good, and we now have souvenir beer glasses for a club we'd rather not remember. We wanted to get into the Groundlings, but it was sold out so we ended up here.
Cool vibe, saw some great comics (Chris D'Elia and Rob Sneider made an appearance) and the food was great! Looking forward to the next time.
Saw a long list of small-time comedians, most of whom were pretty good, and a couple of big hitters showed up with cameos to close out the show
Went to see david spade.first time going to see live stand up.the venue was pretty nice.food was surprisingly really good.
Love this club. Always has unexpected celebrity guest popping up trying new material. Sign up for comedy juice for free tickets
Went for a charity event. It was awesome. Great staff. Food is delicious. Very intimate setting which allows great interactions between performers and audience.
Nice venue, food was pretty good, cocktails were rather terrible with little detectable alcohol.
One of the busiest improv locations.the ambience is wonderful and the waiters are polite and on point.the lineup of comedians is always amazing and most of them delivered great sets on the night I visited. The food is great too.they have pretty good burgers.overall a very fun spot to watch some great comedians!
Come with a great attitude and you'll have an amazing time. We came early and treated everyone around us kindly. Ended up getting vip front table seating and couldn't have been more thankful. Judd Apatow, Adam Devine, Sam Jay, Jeff Ross, Jak Night, Ramon Rivas II, and more. Every comedy club in the world has a two drink minimum so order drinks. The food is also good, but it's nothing fancy. Laughter is the best form of healing. Allow this place to elevate your mind body and spirit.
I would love to live in LA and have this place be my local bar. It has that type of welcoming feel.
Food is meh but Jay Mohr the comedian was spectacular. Go see him there if you get a chance you will not regret it
Hilarious selection of stand up comedy. Good value bar. A bit small to spend much length of time, but has a larger bar next door.
Comedy can soothe a challenging day. That is exactly what I experienced on my first visit to the Hollywood Improv, although the comedy act was at the lab. I definitely recommend their vegan pizza and drinks.
The classiest of the big three. The owner is a decent fellow. Food isn't great, but the show is ok.
Better than the laugh Factory and the Comedy Store.
Amazing atmosphere and wonderful food/drinks. Never pass up an opportunity to check this place out!
