Hollywood Pool reviews
11My mom takes us here to take classes. The classes are totally free and they are only on Saturdays and Sundays but are worth the wait. They have public at 1: 00 through 3: 50 and the tickets to go inside are only 1.00 for children and 4.00 for adults. Great place and I want to be here everyday but I cant. You should really consider this place for family fun and its an indoor pool.
Pleasant experience always.very helpful with lessons and very informative.out going personalities family oriented.wishing one day they open up the slide. Thank you for the Good times!
Pool has different depths wich is cool. Has a park next to it, love it. But almost no shade and the slide was closed which is devastating for a professional slider like me. That was the only reason I came there. I was like noooo!
In the schedule they say they are open and we arrived at the place and they are closed due to lack of personnel and these days they have predicted a strong heat wave
This pool does not open during the weekends. Also, I don't really recommend people coming to this swimming pool. On the website, it said that you guys opened, but when we got there, it said that it was closed, so I don't recommend other people to come here.
Its a pretty big pool there is a slide but I think they don’t use it and also there is a diving board which people seem to like a lot, and the water is not freezing cold which is nice the water ranges from 3 feet -12. Feet, the only thing that irked me is that the showers are dirty, and the first time we went the lifeguards were not helpful almost came off as arrogant, but the guy at the front signing everyone in is super kind.
Ignorant city closes the pool in the middle of the day from 2pm to 3pm every day. What time does the pool open you ask? Noon.
Basically making it impossible to come during the heat of the day without getting kicked out. Makes no sense lol
So heres a picture of everyone standing out in the heat and waiting
Very unsanitary and disgusting women's changing room. The floors are horribly dirty. I am surprised the health dept.hasn't paid a visit and made them clean.
Awful management. The hours say it’s open until 8: 06 pm, but it doesn’t seem to be open to the public. We also called and no one picked up.
I only go for recreational swim, to lay out, and to cool down on hot summer days. So I can't speak to how this pool ranks as a lap pool. But its not bad for a local city pool and has fun activities for kids too! Never too crowded and the people working there are nice. It's only $3.50 and a city pool so don't go in with crazy high expectations and you'll be happy. Bring a couple towels (no seating there, only bleachers), some speakers, and snacks.and you're good to go.
I use to swim there and till this day I really love the pool but I wish I can use the starting blocks, it would be nice to pay extra to use it for example, an extra 10-15 dollars to rent a starting block. And also the new time, its kinda short during weekends and i would to ad extra hour to the pool time. Other than that everything is good
