Asking admitting a simple questions and being reprimanded isn’t my to liking. Once past admitting, you’ll encounter a way more friendly staff.

I call to be transfer to another department and operator cancel my call twice horrible service

Been here for 2 days, came in because I had some bleeding and contractions at 34 weeks. I haven’t seen a doctor yet, nurses only come in to check up once every 4-5 hours, haven’t ate anything since yesterday morning and I’ve been on magnesium since i got here. Was told i have covid knowing that it’s not true because I haven’t been in contact with anyone sick. This place has really changed over the years. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.

My mother got into a car accident and was taken by ambulance to this hospital at 1pm. She was seen to get an EKG and X-ray immediately and been waiting for her results in the ER lobby. At 3: 30pm, I went to the ER and I saw my mother in the ER lobby waiting room. My mother informed me she is just waiting for an xRay results and she’s thirsty for water. So I got my mother a water bottle and about to hand her the water. Suddenly one of the security guards said, “excuse me, I am not a nurse but she shouldn’t be drinking or anything at this moment? ! ” As a daughter in the medical field, I am concerned for my mother necessary needs such as water which is one of the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs. I advocated for mother to speak up. I pointed the facts. My mother said, the medical professionals already took her x-ray and ekg results and she is thirsty. I explained to the security guard. He is not a nurse and should not be telling patients what not to drink. Let alone he said himself, “I am not a nurse. ” S the security is on the wrong and seems like he is discriminating Asian ethnic. My mother is sitting next to a Latino man with a water bottle and didn’t tell him anything. The security guard has no right to say that I cannot give my mother water. I stated the facts: My mother is conscious, she is breathing, and able to speak. There is no nurses, no doctors, or any medical professionals supervising at the ER lobby. So there is no reason for the guard to discourage patients what to drink or not.

This hospital doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating. The security guard acting like a medical professional. The nurses and doctors just take vital signs, x rays, ekg, and let their patients that they admitted wait in the ER lobby/waiting room with no medical supervision. This is concerning and a problem.

My mother got sicker at this hospital. The NP Katherine Kim told me she doesn't know if my mom is getting better or worse, and when i asked questions, she just walked out. The case manager, Yina, didn't return any of my 7 phone calls. When i asked her for help with the nurse, she responded, "why don't you ask the nurse? " She lacks empathy and should not be a case manager. Dr. Hong Lee told me my mom doesn't have long to live. As a result, i couldn't sleep for over a week and had to take medication. The psychiatrist continued giving my mom depacote and other meds that caused my mom's constipation in the first place, even tho i told him and staff that my mom doesn't respond well to these types of meds. My mom was treated like a case study and not a human. Dr. Davati didn't return any of my phone calls and discharged my mom with UTI that escalated to Urosepsis and almost died. Thanks to Cedars Sinai hospital my mom did not pass away. There's ample reasons that this hospital is ranked at the bottom of the rating list of 130 hospitals by the County of L. A.and Cedars is ranked at the top. This hospital was fined the most in the state's history for Covid safety protocol violations and as a result, a nurse died there. Many of the doctors do not have medical degrees from this country if you do the research. I asked the Charging Korean nurse if she could translate for me as i am not fluent in Korean but she wouldn't. Later I heard a different nurse talk to another staff that she was asked to translate spanish but that she isn't paid enough to translate there. I will never forget or forgive the unprofessional staff at this 3rd world like hospital.

I will give credit to 2 staff members: Dr. Dennis Chang and the lead case manager! They both gave me time to discuss my mom's deteriorating health and were empathetic! Props to both these employees.

Dropped off my mother 10 hours ago and she is still in the waiting room. Ridiculous! Worst ER ever. Go elsewhere!

Pretty impressive for how much triaging they have to do. I was treated in 3 hours, and felt heard and seen by everyone.

Worst hospital I have ever been to worst security guards. No care in the world for the patients. I sat outside for 4 hours with my 1 year old son wife and 4 year old daughter. I went to ask Secuirty questions they can’t help or they don’t know anything. Nurse told us not to leave to go grab anything to eat or we would lose our spot. She said she has my son getting expedited to see a nurse. We waiting 5hours after she said we still should not leave if we leave we would be takin off list and have to wait the ceo. Of this hospital needs to figure some things out. For his staff and the third party allied Barton Secuirty guards.

I want to give a shout out to all the staff on the 6th floor. My grandma came in with a broken hip and the nurses helped my grandma feel at ease. Shout out Maria! The Physical therapist was also great.

Wonderful doctors. The radiology team is outstanding. Amy, Alejandro, Rolando and Dan were very kind and went that Extra mile to make the time I was there as comfortable as possible. Thank you guys for being attentive and caring of your patients!

Don’t go here unless you enjoy waiting 5-6 hours.and yes you’ll be waiting that long even if you came in with an ambulance, lol.the doctors are too busy jacking each other off and eating pizza in the lounge room

I was treated for injuries from a car crash. Dr Butcher and the ER team were very compassionate, thorough and professional. I am so grateful for their help and expertise in a scary and tough situation!

This has got to be the worst hospital I have ever been to! Nurses simply do not care, Nurse Laura in labor and delivery is extremely rude and not doing her job correctly along with the anesthesiologist. Because of the given circumstances me and my wife suffered serious trauma. However, we will be proceeding with legal options because this is unexceptable. This environment almost felt as if we were in prison and the nurses were our prison gaurds!
