8It was a very long line to drive up to the top of the opposite mountain.so that you can take selfie’s with the Hollywood sign behind you, But it wasn’t worth the wait on line. We left and drive ten blocks away and had a perfect view of the sign behind us. We walked Hollywood to see the Stars. I would advise you search for a map to find the Star you want to see. Otherwise you will just be dizzy!:) we still had a great time!
You'll be certainly disappointed as THIS IS NOT A SITE OF THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN. BEWARE THIS IS CLICKBAIT.
Worth the hike! Lots of friendly tourists and locals to meet and chat with along the way.
TIPS: Wear good hiking shoes, and prepare plenty of water and sunscreen! Also, you might want to bring a snack for the return trek.

A wonderful park with a great view of the Hollywood sign. “The best view you could get” locals said. It’s a trip to remember. Felt like we were in the movies!
There I was walking one night having a very depressing life when suddenly I tripped and fell. I thought this must be a sign from God saying my life is only getting worse then I looked up and saw these words spelt out. Hollywood. It must be a sign from God I thought. What does it mean? My Family and I ️And My Sons Familia from Perú Love to go see the Hollywood sign. I know that you can’t get behind it or walk up close to it but as long as you get to see the sign it’s a happy feeling you could take pictures in front of with in a distance Lots of People and Lots of Pitures
The hike up is really good and calming. There are certain trails that can turn into a little but of rock climbing. The trail is mostly wide and flat, it goes up and down. The sign and the city can be seen after the sun is up.
Early morning at the conservatory/ planetarium free parking b4 10am. Beautiful clear nonsmoking walking, running, biking, driving, skating paths. Enjoyable for the whole family! Friendly! Hummingbird bushes, binoculars, 10$ parking after 10am.security, views of LA and Hollywood sign 35min walk. Loved it!
