I've been a patient of Dr. Lisa Hunt for a few years before she relocated to the L. A.area and joined Holtorf Medical group. She is an outstanding physician. She helped me with some medical conditions unlike other doctors I've spoken with over the years, looking for resolution. I appreciate her comprehensive integrative and holistic philosophy and she is always welcoming and approachable. The excellent service I was accustomed to in her previous practice continued at Holtorf Medical Group. Everyone, from Eddie in the pharmacy to Cristina, Dr. Lisa's assistant, to Carly who I just met (along with others I have only spoken with briefly), has been professional, friendly, responsive and very helpful. In addition, I appreciate the informative articles on their website and the state-of-the-art research and treatments Holtorf Medical provides. I'm grateful that Dr. Lisa and the Holtorf Medical team supports my health journey.

I, like many I’ve met here, had previously found the many other options for care not sufficiently nuanced or diverse for my needs. Trying to treat myself through what was available to me as a layman got me a little further than traditional cate but it involved a lot of unhelpful rabbit trails and it was not always positive. At Holtorf, I found a physician community who are perceptive and diverse in the options available to us. Being both aware that medicine is full of unknowns but also keeping up numerous cutting edge options, they have given me much of what I need to take my health at my own pace safely and with choices. In the time I’ve been at Holtorf, my energy levels and cognition have improved dramatically. I have been able to work a demanding job once again, when at one time I felt little hope. I am really grateful for this group and the very knowledgeable community of patients I have met being there.

I’ve been going to HMG for several years, and I’m so thankful for the care both the doctors and staff provide. Dr. Evans always listens (which far too many doctors don’t do!) and empowers me to take an active role in my treatment. She thinks outside the box to figure out the best plan for my needs and goals and stays up-to-date on new studies and treatments. Kim Potter, Dr. Evans’ administrative assistant, is phenomenal as well. Kim always makes herself available via email and phone to answer my questions and/or pass them along to Dr. Evans: She goes above and beyond to help me. For example, I recently had a situation getting a medication covered by insurance, and she made several calls and filled out necessary forms until it finally got approved. Eduardo in the dispensary and Daniel in the IV room are also wonderful. I feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing team: it makes all the difference in world.

Ozone was a big help to me in getting rid of my chronic Lyme & mold illness. It was one of the only therapies I did that would give me die off which I was so happy about because that showed progress & that it was working. To avoid die off just do less. The IV room is restful, here’s a photo of a bunch of health books in it.

Holtorf Medical, like all other doctors in the Cash Only Chronic Illness Business, is in it for the money. The Chronic Illness matrix is not well studied or understood, so the doctors can say, "Well, we could try THIS method now" after the last one failed with no reprisals (except your loss of your money.) Most diagnoses fall within the range of what they can sell Holtorf supplements for. Supplements can help, but mostly do not. Treatments can help, but mostly do not. There are no conventional medical protocols for the tangled web of chronic illness so desperate patients, including myself, keep up as much trial and error as they can afford. Most holistic clinics are like this so really, it's buyer beware. You need to educate yourself to navigate their claims vs.your reality.

I always look forward to come to the clinic. I am very grateful for all the help that Teresa and Daniel provide me every visit. As well as, all the help and guidance I receive from Dr. Hunt. Thank you for all your help.

Such a great experience! Dr. Evans was amazing and her assistant there, Kim, helped me to feel completely taken care of. Such sweet office staff they have! Plus the office is definitely modern so you feel at ease knowing they are with the times! Dan helped me in the IV room and I didn’t feel a thing, I just got to rest and let the IV do its magic! The staff, the nurses, the doctors are the best I have ever experienced. Their knowledge exceeds any expectations I ever had. Dr. Laufer is an amazing endocrinologist. His bedside manner is remarkable. He is incredibly smart. I feel better. I am less exhausted. He's with you every step of the way! His liaison is wonderful! She is available to talk you. She's personable and she cares about how you are feeling. The front staff are super helpful and so kind. Their pharmacy walks you through everything. There are no stupid questions. I have been privileged to receive care at Holtorf for over a decade. Over the course of many years, I have seen MANY, MANY doctors. Without a doubt, Dr. Evans is the very best I have ever seen. She is the ultimate professional, taking great care to understand the health situations of her patients. I truly could not love a doctor more. She is amazing, and if you EVER have the opportunity to become one of her patients, you definitely will want to do so!
