Home2 Suites by Hilton Atascadero

This was a really nice hotel. They have a breakfast that is included with your stay and lots of seating.

The rooms were nice and clean and seem much bigger than they are (well designed).

Parking is limited near the hotel but they have side entrances that open with your key to make it easier.

My only down side is the breakfast layout is poorly done with lots of bottlenecks but it forces you to meet the other patrons.

When we checked in, they were doing some repairs outside our window, but we never heard them.

The saying “never judge a book by its cover” definitely applies here. While this place looks nice and looks clean do not let that fool you, this establishment has numerous problems. From the moment we arrived it was one problem after the next, heat not working correctly in the living room area (manager admitting that they have several rooms like this), thermostats not reading properly (off by several degrees), you can not set the thermostat past 80 or under 68 and with the thermostat reading off you wind up with several degrees difference in temperature, there is a sensor that turns off the lights every 20 minutes and with it also turns off the heat and air this happens 24/7 (so when you get up the heat/air is off and now you are hot or cold, our room flooded while there (started on the fourth floor and came into our second floor after the third) (employee admitted this was his fault and that it went floor to floor) they did nothing except send someone to steam clean the areas where there was water several hours after it happened and was near dry (whole hotel out of water for several hours), the dryer ate my pants, someone moved my towels from the washer and started drying them when there was another washer available (weird), they painted and gave no notice (smell came into our room and we had to leave for the day), they also gave no notice and applied some sort of netting to the windows that we had to keep the curtains closed for and not park on that side of the building where we were staying. This process omitted a terrible smell that made us have to leave the room. On top of all of this a front desk girl that is so nice till there is a problem then she becomes the wicked witch of the west. I’m sure there’s more but it’s exhausting just reliving this. Needless to say we cut our stay short by several weeks and left to somewhere now where we are happy and have had no problems so far. In short, avoid this place and stay somewhere else. It may be clean but the problems and lack of service will not be worth it.

Clean and comfortable room. I especially liked the comfortable bedding. They provided more than enough towels. The heater was a little loud.

Clean and spacious room, includes pretty much everything kitchen related. Free breakfast was very nice, room cost was a bit lower than average. Stayed on less busy night, room faced parking lot, and not many neighbors, so was pretty quiet at night. Morning service was good. All in all, would choose to stay here again.

Newer hotel, set up for extended stays with kitchen appliances and spoons, dishes, forks etc.includes breakfast but breakfast has limited vegetarian items in hot food; stayed several times during the week to say for sure. Hope they take this input seriously as the paso Hampton inn does much better, tho it is older and dingy

I am a Marriott guy and this Hilton actually surprised me with how much nicer it was compared to the Marriott Springhill Suites.

Great service. Clean rooms. Actually okay continental breakfasts.

Stayed here for a work trip. The hotel is very new looking and the rooms are modern and clean. The front desk allowed me to check in a little early since my plane was early. Breakfast is provided and has a lot of choices. They use actual dishes which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The only negative I have is the location. It is not near any restaurants except for a Taco Bell and it is right on the highway so car noise is fairly loud. I would however recommend for a quick over night stay or a work trip.

Extremely nice hotel! Everything was very comfortable, the rooms are nice and big and the breakfast was exceptional for a hotel free breakfast. We will be back!

The hotel was a good choice. It was clean and new and has what we are looking for. There was security at night and I would recommend it for families. The only things is that the car sounds on the free way!

The hotel was clean, quiet, in a nice location and staff was great. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. They live up to the Hilton name for service and quality. I will stay again when I return.

Wall are paper thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors rooms.
Would highly recommend a different hotel.

We stayed here for a combination work and leisure trip. All of the staff were very helpful and the facility is clean and well organized.

I'm not reviewing as a guest. However, I was tasked with helping my friend and guest of Home2 Suites remove their belongings after an emergency forced them to leave abruptly. The staff was tremendous in allowing me access to the room while I removed my friend's belongings. I was recently back and I can't say enough. This is a great place to stay near Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.
(First Review) My family and I were looking for a place near Paso Robles CA. The Home2 Suites was an great place for a family to stay. The rooms had a small kitchen and plenty of room for your group. It had a beautiful outdoor patio area and a heated swimming pool for the kids.

Road trip. Decided to stay here and was not disappointed. Nice quiet, clean, and modern rooms. Easy parking.

Very nice, almost brand-new Hilton. Comfortable, large rooms. Full kitchen that's only missing the stove. Convenient to highway it's just a little north of the main part of Atascadero. I made use of the digital key amenity which is great so I didn't have a lot of contact with the staff. The little I did was very pleasant. Definitely recommend!

New hotel with large rooms and a fairly decent continental breakfast. Would stay here again, didn’t give it five stars due to the bathroom not having a locking functionality- but other than that, it was great!

Room is clean, wide and comfortable.
Breakfast is great and very tasty.
Service was great.
I would recommend this place.
