Homewood Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport-North reviews
17 This is a great hotel in every way. It is super convenient no matter which direction you need to travel, yet just far enough off the freeway for it to be very quiet. The room was very attractive, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I will gladly return to this Homewood Suites location next time I visit!
Note: There are no restaurants right in that area, but a short walk will take you to a beautiful harbor view.
We booked this hotel a month or so before going. We were looking forward to the pool and a relaxing stay. WE DID NOT GET THIS. They put us in a hall where they are remodeling. Pounding noises and lots of workers walking around. We also got no notice about the pool being closed till right before. Closed for remodel or cleaning. Who knows? We tried to cancel or get a refund and they WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND OR WORK WITH YOU! Very very disappointed in our stay. DONT STAY HERE. REPET DO NOT STAY HERE
Had a great time here with my kids an wife. Breakfast for the kids, pool for them an wasn't sketchy, Karla I think was her name made things go smoothly.
Potatoes were really good.the service was really good. The room we originally had had a blower in the hallway outside to make the hallway less stuffy. And although it was loud, we were able to change our room easily.
I liked the rooms, they were nicely designed. Though my roommate thought the rooms were a bit small.
The kitchen was nice, it had the basics (pots, plates, utensils).
Sat by Brisbane Marina an ten min from airport.
Great suite and clean.
Comfy beds.complimentary cooked breakfast.
Very good.
Very efficient rooms, despite the kitchen supplies not the best quality for those who like to cook. Loved the location and beautiful views. The cleaning staff would never vacuum or mop the floors, but beyond that my long-term stay was great.
Hotel is being renovated as of April 2023. The rooms are good sized, with a kitchen that has a fridge (not small but medium sized), stovetop, and, microwave. Staff was friendly. Close to businesses but no restaurants within walking distance nearby.
It was a fair bit from SFO for an airport hotel. The shuttle ran very limited hours so it was a $31 taxi fare after 9pm. The breakfast wasn't the best but the rooms were clean and spacious.
Nice hotel for short stay with fridge freezer, cooker dishwasher and microwave. Rooms are big and lots of power/charging points. Great customer service from staff and clean rooms.
Room very good, breakfast OK (but no fresh fruit) evening reception food lacking compared to other Homewood locations.

So disappointed to have chosen to stay at this hotel this week. I’m not sure if this how Hilton chain are operating these times since the start of pandemic.
When I checked in, I was told by the front desk lady that if I need to have my room made up, I just need to let them know, which I understand (although some Hilton affiliates have been back to normal, and you need not to request as long as you don’t put the “do not disturb” tag outside your door). But I’m good with this, following hotel policy.
This morning (Apr. 5,2023), on my third day, I personally dropped-by at the front desk and requested to make up my room. To my surprise, the front desk guy, who was wearing white shirt and a tie, with a beard, looked at me (sarcastically, don’t know why) and told me that I’m not eligible for a room make up (or clean up) since I’m only staying for 4 nights, and not 5. What the heck? I asked myself, really? Then when he probably felt that I wasn’t happy, he then ask, ok “what’s your room number? ”, so I gave him. And he said, “I can only have your towels changed but can’t have your room make up”. So I nodded and said “that’s ok” to him.
When I got back in the evening, nothing has changed at all. So disappointed.
And by the way, you have to beg to request for a bottled water (even if you’re a Diamond member).
If I can only give a zero star #smh I definitely won’t be back to this hotel. They won’t even welcome or honor you no matter or regardless of you status.
Location farther from airport than expected. Shuttle service ended before 9: 30 pm so needed a Lyft.
Had to stay here because our power had gone out for several days and needed a place to stay for the family and my cats. The place was really pretty and did stand out next to the other hotels! But the parking was very limited for handicap and far from the door, once inside I was ignored for 5 minutes till finally someone checked us in, asked for 2 rooms close to each other and glad we got that. My grandmas room was beautiful and smelled clean but our room right next door smelled like a bathroom dirty and disgusting, the room was clean and very beautiful the smell is the only thing that got to us.
Stay away from this hotel. They aren’t even apologetics when I mention issues I had with them.
Not a good airport hotel. Shuttle doesn't run during the day and too far to walk. Beware they advertise as having a shuttle when they really do not
I was hesitant first after reading the reviews about this place being and smelling old. I'm glad I ignored that because this place was GREAT! Rooms were super clean and spacious enough for us and 2 kids. Breakfast was good quality and had the usual suspects: eggs, sausage, pancakes, french toast, bagels and cereals. I didn't get his name but the breakfast attendant was very welcoming and took pride in the food and cleanliness of the tables. I would definitely go here again.
The room is nice enough, but the attentiveness of the staff and attention to detail are completely lacking. We were sitting in the lobby, trying to catch up with a friend. We had not seen in years, but we could barely hear each other, because there were three employees behind the front desk, talking really loudly and looking at their cell phones, oblivious to the fact that their conversations would carry all the way across the lobby at the hotel and was an imposition on their guests. The hotel didn’t remove the the USA flag in the middle of a huge rainstorm yesterday and it was beating against my car. When we checked in, the TV remote didn’t work, and there was no body gel in the shower (the dispenser was empty), so when I told the front desk, housekeeping changed the bottle while we were out—with body lotion! NO, I had to complain again. This time a guy came to change it to body soap. One thing after another. Staff need to be trained on self-awareness and attention to details when it comes to customer experience. Not pleased at all.
