Honey & Comb Salon reviews
6 I had an appointment with Tara Melissa. She was the absolute worst. She charged me $150 an hour for a color correction even after she was done with that portion. When she washed and conditioned my hair, my neck was straining in the chair. She left color all over the back part that she had to go out and wash again. I have never had such a terrible experience in a salon. She curled my hair and when I told her I wanted it straight, she told me my hair was curly and just ran the straightener through not even covering the curls. Basically, just her time was $150 per hour. Total rip off. I won’t be returning. It’s pretty heart breaking how terrible my hair looks. I’m pretty sure Supercuts could have done a better job. I would like the manager to contact me with a resolution. I have also sent them a message through their website.
Update: No one has gotten back to me.
This review is for Alex. I followed her from a different salon. She is extremely talented and gives amazing haircuts. Alex takes the time to hear your preferences/concerns but will also share her opinions on what will look the best. This is a quality of a great stylist. I have fine hair and that too not a whole lot but she gave me voluminous cut that complemented my face shape and addressed my concern of flat look without sacrificing overall length. She offers only haircut service and you can imagine how skilled she would be just working on that service day in and day out.
You will feel like a million dollar coming out of her chair. Do give her a try!
If you want celebrity blonde hair, you need to see Emily Farley! I get compliments every time I leave my house. She always goes above and beyond and keeps my hair so healthy, I literally wont let anyone else touch my hair.
This review is for Emily Farley. 1. Vagaro prices don’t reflect her actual prices. 2. First time in her chair, didn’t take the time to ask what I wanted, see pics and declined a full highlight which is what my appointment was for. 3. Limited conversation/very cold. Herded in in like cattle. 4. Charged $350 for yellow/brassy highlights around the crown along with white over processed strands. Minimum foils on sides and back and didn’t highlight back sides left and right around crown. Another$100 for a 2 inch trim. 5. Disappeared for long periods of time while I was in the chair and at the bowl and didn’t communicate what was going on. I didn’t know I was getting a complementary “treatment”. Another stylist saw my legs dangling at the bowl and put the footrest up for me. 6. I communicated with Emily afterwards and she offered to tone my highlights, but my hair is too fragile for additional processing. Also her technique for blowouts wasn’t professional. For the amount of money I paid, I thought she would get it correct the first time. A waste of time and money. $517 for this.
Rebecca is expert at highlights and did an amazing and excellent job on my hair. It takes a truly talented stylist to create bright, yet subtle highlights that look natural and blend. I hadn’t been to this salon before and I was truly impressed. Thank you so much.
