Hands down to best rear end shop in Los Angeles. I was referred to shop from my friend. I called and spoke with Ryan over the phone and explained the issue i had on my jeep. He answered all my questions and i made an appointment with. My jeep was fixed in couple hours. It drives perfectly, the issue is gone.

Dropped off the rear end out of my 69 camaro to be rebuilt. The posi unit was bad as well as a few other issues. Hoopers rebuilt it to be better/stronger than it ever was and it came back smooth as butter. Everything was done on time and within the quote they gave me for the work. I won't hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

Took my rear end and it was cheaper off the truck crysler 8.25. Their shop is set up better for drop offs bench work and lots of space inside for the job you would think they make.diffs there i was surprized

Absolutely top notch shop and honest guys. I had some major issues with the rear diff on my 74 F250. I took the whole truck to them and they got it all straightened out. I can't remember when this truck drove so smoothly and quietly.

I'm also working on a military vehicle and had a mystery sound coming from the front differential along with gear oil running up and out of the vent tube. This vehicle uses the Ford 8.8 and has the Eaton Detroit Truetrac limited slip internals. It turns out that my mystery sound was not caused by anything the differential so the search goes on. I'm glad that I had them check it out either way.

I found this shop probably the same way that most of you are; here on Google. I absolutely detest having to take my vehicles to the shop because I've been burnt a few times doing so. However, messing with the differential is just something I'm not willing to do. I'm really glad that I found hoopers, even though they are well out of my way and I have lots of shops much closer to me. Believe me, like other reviewers have said, a good shop is worth the drive and this is a good shop.

Lastly, no matter how good a business you run, you will always have to deal with people that you simply will never make happy. If you've ever worked in customer service you'll know this. Some people just live to complain and make other people as miserable as they are. Trust the overwhelming number of excellent reviews that Hoopers has and take the others with a grain of salt.

Helped me with a diff I thought needed to be looked over. They said it felt fine but still took it in too give it an inspection and found nothing wrong and resealed the cover for me free of charge. Great place.

Terrible! After having them inspect and change oil in my rear differential, Within 50 miles I had problems with my Detroit Electrac locking differential. Now I have a broken shift fork (no longer available) and slightly damaged ring and pinion, and my jeep cannot be driven. I had to remove axles, differential, and pinion to get the broken part out of the housing. They must have installed the shift fork incorrectly when reassembling, but will not admit it. They refunded the $250 inspection fee. Hoopers said I should buy a new differential ($1000+$450 install) since mine is “obsolete” and now broken! Unacceptable! Even after I had the Bureau of Automotive Repair contact them they will still not help me!
