I am so thankful for my time spent at Hope By the Sea. I absolutely love the staff there. They are all really good compassionate and caring people. They teach you the tool's you need to keep you straight on the outside. It's up to you to use them. I wouldn't trade my experience there for anything. I miss the staff very much everyday

I believe I got the help I needed from my time spent in this place. I did 90 days and they really helped me with my tactics to sobriety and getting closer to Jesus on the Christian track but I love it here I would go back if need be

I was a bit apprehensive having my father travel across the country for rehabilitation treatment, but Jacqueline was so helpful throughout the entire process and explained everything so thoroughly. Without her guidance and compassion for helping others, my dad wouldn't have made it there. Once my dad arrived to the facility, they treated him so well that he didn't want to leave them. All of the workers were amazing and so kind to him. They understood what he was going through during detox and helped him along the way. I was able to talk to my dad every day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for him, and we are forever grateful. Michelle was also equally important during his road to recovery. Not only did she work with him each day, but she also went above and beyond in finding him another facility that will continue to help him after he left. I would 100% recommend this rehabilitation center to anyone that is wanting to get the help they deserve. Thank you to all of the staff at Hope By The Sea - You are truly remarkable! I feel so blessed to have my father back. <3

What an absolute joke! DO NOT send your family here there is no real professional help and thank you for sending my family member home still withdrawing from a medication you refused to get him off of. That is setting someone up for failure and be proud because you did just that. I will make sure everyone knows of your practices. All the reviews on here with a 5 star is all staff and nothing but lies.

I want to thank Hope by the sea for the opportunity to be there. My experience was wonderful. I haven't laughed so much in a long time.
Thank you Michelle, Cassandra, Alex, Milea, Bailey, Joslyn, Brooke, Kylie, Emily, Greer, all of the people that put this place together. A special shout out to the house managers I dealt with they were all awesome.

Just want to say, the experience I've received after all I've been through and put myself through. I couldn't thank Hope By The Sea enough. There staff and programs they help ur life in many ways. There case worker to therapist and counselors even house managers and there drivers some the best people in these recovery programs, of the world they all play there part to make sure we do our end of recovery. They care about what there doing and really care about you. Even with the rules that's structure. One of the few tools they help us with. So much more can't even explain. All I have to say is thankyou so much to everyone at Hope By The Sea.

When I first went to Hope, I wasn't ready to surrender to the fact that I am an alcoholic. But the staff at Hope was kind, loving and patient. I was there for 2 months. A year later, I went back and gave it my all. Got the proper mental health diagnosis, and found my way back to God. Hope by the Sea was wonderful. The food, the accommodations, the therapies, the staff. They care in a way I had forgotten was possible. Thank you Hope by the Sea! I'm almost 400 days sober!

I cannot say enough about Hope by the Sea. I suffered for decades with alcohol disease. I’ve tried numerous times through the years and failed. I finally came to the point where I had enough! I searched the internet (while drunk) looking for help. I clicked on a site which someone contacted me within a couple minutes. The person was so NICE and compassionate and asked if I could pack myself up and hop on the plane in the next morning and fly to California. I was so desperate that I would do anything- so I did just that! I was a hot mess until I arrived in detox. The whole entire experience for me was incredible and life saving. Everyone that I met became a part of my works at the time and bonding friendships took place. The counselors, facilitators, drivers, chefs, and entire staff are incredible! I loved the fact that most of them were in our shoes and the stories all similar and that we shared the most important common ground - to be sober forever! I thank you Chad for having such a wonderful facility that truly gives hope to those of us who thought it would never be possible! Thank you all! Lisa (Jersey girl) ️

I've been working with Taryn with getting by boyfriend help from Arizona. She is absolutely amazing! I've never had a chance to work with staff that treats people so well. She has answered all of my calls even at late hours and responds to texts right away.any concerns i had she reassured me and really made me feel comfortable with the entire process. From the moment I spoke with her she was so respectful and understanding of everything. I couldn't be happier with how easy she made this for us and how welcoming she has been. Thank you so much Taryn!

Hope by the sea took me in not only once but twice! They helped me get through some of the toughest stuff in my life. Very grateful! Extraordinarily compassionate staff who could all relate to what I was going through. Hope by the sea did exactly what they told me they were going to do! Thanks a bunch guys!

0 stars absolutely hideous rehab and so dirty. My husband got no recovery here and they will not update family at all! Case worker shaneska should not have a job! The therapist Meaghan is unqualified. There's no real doctors on site. I will update this review soon

I attended this rehab for 30 days, I was having a hard time staying clean, I was referred to hope by the sea by a switchboard operator stating they had a higher level of care. This couldn't be further from the truth. It seems this was all just a ploy to milk insurance money. Andrew and Diane were very easy to get ahold of and respond to communication, until they got me on the flight. They promised to pay for my parking fee for long term parking while I was gone, because the uber the scheduled for me fell through. I was also told that they would pay for my return flight home. Neither of those promises were fulfilled. They also did not call to update my wife even once during my stay and were somehow not able to pass any messages she left for me along either. During detox they prescribed nearly everyone valium and I was able to trade some of my medications for valium because there was hardly any supervision during med times. If you're thinking of sending your loved one here to get better please beware. I have been to multiple other rehabs and this is one where I experienced the least amount of recovery. I feel like they try and keep the clients hooked on different prescriptions so that they can try and convince them they need to stay longer and in turn get more insurance money. The individual therapy sessions are a joke. Meaghan was my therapist and she was not qualified nor helpful. And the group facilitators do not have the credentials to be working a rehab, Shaneska was the rudest case worker that couldn't even do her job. The last week I was there I was prescribed naltrexone even though my drug of choice was not opiates. They also did not file my disability correctly and I have not seen a single cent from disability due to that. We are a single income family. The food they serve is not healthy like advertised and the facilities are not clean or by the beach as advertised. They falsely billed my insurance for partial hospitalization (iop) to be able to keep me there while providing no recovery and there ar NO 12 Step meetings as advertised. They only do a few zoom ones and stop. The house manager ran a cotton candy making and selling scheme and had all the "patients" make and bag it without gloves and I was sick. Then we go to the beach and they run there side hustles selling candy to kids made by unclean patients. He paid us all 50cents per bag. Beware of the 5 star reviews they are fake. Any questions contact me.

For the most part everybody I encountered was amazing helpful compassionate and kind. Unfortunately the only are an on-site was cold hard completely about her never once when I was there to did she ask him how I was doing or how my day was. It was always rants about her co-workers her life on and on which a 5-minute intake I was about 10 minutes with five minutes of her just ranting can a hot tub being recovery listening to that nonsense. The director. Was no better again for listening skills no compassion no real rooting for the patients to get real recovery. How very very sad it unprofessional. But I can't stress enough at the other house managers were kind compassionate try to be a part of the most importantly supportive. Too bad it takes just to Awful people to ruin the experience that was supposed to help me change my life
