Horizon Charter Schools, Lincoln CA

The experience with Horizon has one plus for me: my kids are done with it. The teaching staff was lackluster for the 2021-2022 school year but those few who did well then are gone. The 2022-2023 school year has come with racial discrimination by teachers, pettiness directed at kids because of internet connection issues, anger directed at children for needing help, etc. My kids have succeeded despite their teachers, not because of them. Malevolent incompetence is perhaps the best summary for this school and it's teachers.

This school does NOT put the children’s best interest first. Do your children a favor and pick a school that has the best interest in your children’s mental wellbeing and growth.
