Horizon Health & Subacute Center, Fresno CA

My father in law was there for rehabilitation, right leg amputation.
Physical therapist were awesome and very attentive.
He never complained and actually liked hanging around the nurses station with his “buddies” drinking coffee. He was ready to come home after 15 days but I feel good about recommending this place, especially rehab.

I have a precious elderly long-time friend who recently lost her son. She has been able to take care of herself and drive herself where she wants to go.

Recently, she became dizzy. The ambulance took her to Horizon Health & Subacute Center.

I have tried all her regular phone numbers. The message boxes were full.

I then tried calling Horizon, many times over, attempting to reach somebody to find out if my friend is still there. The phone calls, many of them, were never answered across a stretch of time.

When I get to town, I will have to go to the facility in person.

No answer through multiple attempts across time, gives me no confidence in this facility and no confidence in its accountability.visity friend.

I am hoping she is still alive.

I am the Administrator of this facility so of course I am biased but having worked in multiple facilities, this facility is by far the nicest facility I have worked in. Management of the facility was recently taken over by Generations Healthcare. Generations is a well established company that is dedicated to patient care and satisfaction. It really is a great facility if you or a loved one needs short term care before returning home. If you are interested in learning more please come by and see me at the facility.
