Horseplay Rentals, Huntington Beach CA

My mother and I visited Horseplay a couple of months ago for our first horseback riding experience ever (It was a surprise gift for her birthday). The whole process, from reservation to the end of our session was a very pleasant experience. Everyone we interacted with was very nice, especially our instructor Bridget. She did a great job preparing us for the ride and did an excellent job leading us during the ride.
Before the ride, we spent 30-45 mins with the horses when we learned how to groom the horses and get to know them. That alone was a really cool experience for us as first timers. Horses seemed to be very clean and well taken care of. The ride itself was a little over an hour I believe. The trails were very nice too. We loved it and are looking forward to going back in the near future. 100% deserves 5 star rating.

Douglas was an amazing wrangler! It was my 8 year old granddaughter’s first time to ride a horse and Douglas made the experience so easy and enjoyable. Hebwas very encouraging and both of our horses, Papoose and Two, were excellent. Thank you for making her first ride such a memorable one.

Amazing trail ride experience. Friendly staff and gentle, sweet horses. I highly recommend.
