Love this place! Always a good experience and delicious dessert. Also the red curly haired baker with the piercings is my favorite!

Usually go to the Polk location because it’s <somewhat> easier to access with regards to parking and running in real fast. Variations of cookies, but for me the fail safe is the “basic bitch” (chocolate chip). Really good flavor, texture. Just wished they had an option to buy cookies by the dozen and not just individually

This tiny counter-sized shop serves up tasty cookies and friendly service. I happened upon Hot Cookie while I was out for a walk. I bought a macadamia/white chocolate cookie and a rice crispy bar. While they were not cheap they were delicious. The woman running the counter was friendly as well. I wish there was a Hot Cookie in my town. I'd return.

Cookies are bomb! I got the bust a nut (peanut butter, Granny (oatmeal raisin) and the Oreo cookie. They were all so good! Way better than crumbl cookies

The taste of the cookies is not very good. It's definitely a social media place. The name is higher than the taste.

Castro needs to be okay with straight people coming in and ordering brownies. It's pretty wild how the same girl who works at night always has the worst attitude a customer should ever experience. She is unprofessional doesn't treat the workplace for what it is. Her Job. #You'reabovenoone

Ubered from the mission and got here 15 minutes before close on a Monday. The lady already had closed up shop, and refused to let us in.

The other hot cookie location in the Castro was good and actually open during their posted hours.

Soft, chewy, and warm chocolate chip cookies! You can smell it down the street. Not a fan of the just walk in kinda place; no where to sit and enjoy the cookies. It’s definitely a place to grab-n-go.

Delicious and intreging hreat customer service cute names for the cookies definately underated this place rocks the homemade flavors are so scrumptious youll feel right at home and will delight your sences with morsal and every bite. Cant wait to ho back to get somemore!

Cute cookie bakery serving delicious novelty cookies and brownies in the heart of Castro. I had both the Sticky Nicky and a PB cookie. Both were delicious! Would return to get more novelty brownies.

Honestly I don’t get the hype. The cookies were not even warm like the name suggests and they didn’t taste special. I’m not American so I was hyped to try some when I passed by, expecting a lot due the name, but was disappointed. Tastes like a European cookie. Nothing bad just not too special. Have had better American cookies in town for sure.

Cookies tasted like everything I flew to San Francisco to expect! Full of flavor and attitude! I smelled them and tipped before I even tasted them!

A SF staple! You have to go here if you are visiting the city for the first or tenth time.

Cookies were delicious but the staff was rather rude. Okay, I understand that after a long day of work, people could be a little grumpy, but no. I do not appreciate it when businesses show such disdain for their customers, and I certainly won't be recommending this spot to anyone who is craving some sweets and ends up here only to be treated rudely.

After seven years of living within crawling distance, I finally understand the hype for this place after trying these cookies for the first time. Novelty aside, the coconut macaroon texture is perfect and all of the regular cookie flavors are amazing.

These cookies are AMAZING! We got a snicker doodle and a toffee milk chocolate, they are so soft and delicious.
