Hotel California

Stayed here for 6 nights and it was perfect. Small hotel with a really lovely pool and hot tub and the staff really go out of their way to make the outdoor area really nice - candles at nice, music during the day. We originally booked 1 King room and unfortunately couldn’t change online to a 2 bed room, but the team here were amazing and put us in two separate rooms which they didn’t have to do.

The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and nice decor. Free snack baskets and drinks in the fridge. The hotel is right on a 4 lane road but it’s really quiet. There’s free continental breakfast and coffee/water/snacks available throughout the day. The staff also pop around every now and then to offer drinks.

There’s plenty of food options within walking distance. You will need a car to get into downtown Palm Springs as it’s about a 30min walk, but the hotel has complimentary bikes or you can Uber.

Whenever we travel to Palm Springs, we always stay at the beautiful Hotel California. This hotel first caught our eye when we were driving along East Palm Canyon Drive. With its Spanish Mission architecture and towering palm trees lit up in the night, we resolved to make reservations there on our next visit. That was about six years ago, and we are still coming. The serene inner courtyard and fountain, the wonderful rooms, the great service, and the adults-only quiet atmosphere make Hotel California the ultimate retreat. It's our home away from home.

The location was really nice. The place was great. The only problem we had was a dog barking all night til morning hours from a house across the street.

I recently stayed here for a birthday weekend with my girlfriends, and I must say, this hotel is so cute!  The room was cozy, stylish and clean, and the staff was kind and attentive. I loved that this place is located nearby Downtown Palm Springs, but without the crowds and noise, yet it’s only 15 Minutes from Palm Desert, too, for more shopping and entertainment. My favorite thing was that the pool is secluded with a tropical feel, so my girlfriends and I could relax outside during the day. I enjoyed the bed and breakfast type atmosphere here, and I will definitely come back here when I visit Palm Springs again!

Nice place, good attention. Bicycles available for the guest. Breakfast you have to do yourself. They leave you all the supplies. They give you keys for your entrance and exit

This is a beautiful little hotel. Some much to like. The courtyard pool was delightful with the right mix of shade and sun. And we saw humming birds! Our room was spotless and really well equipped. Breakfast was fine and there is a great kitchen and BBQ if you want to cook. Everyone was really helpful. One morning we borrowed the bikes to tour some of the houses and then get an ice cream in town. Stayed here for a few days in mid June and would love to go back as there is a lot to see. And would definitely stay at the Hotel California again.

Absolutely adorable little hideaway. Beautiful, lush landscaping with humming birds fluttering around. The wonderful staff treated us like royalty, bringing margaritas to our room upon check-in. The rooms are cute, very clean and ours had a little kitchenette. It’s adults only so the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. We will definitely be staying at The Hotel California when we return to Palm Springs.

Had a delightful time when my wife and & I stayed here for three nights in early June. The hotel staff worked hard to provide guests with a friendly & personalized experience. Our accommodations, a 2-story “townhouse” had a kitchen, full bath & a small living area downstairs and a second story main bedroom and full-bath. Both levels had small patios with seating, and a mountain view from the second level patio. Our stay included 24-hour access to the pool and hot tub and a full-sized communal kitchen area with several gas grills available on the adjacent and shaded patio. Beach-cruiser style bikes were available on-demand and offered quick access to downtown Palm Springs without the worry of finding parking. Restaurants and markets with an easy 10-15 minute walk and guests were encouraged to cookout on the grills and provided all necessary kitchen amenities to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Although the kitchen was stocked with continental breakfast style items that included bread & pastries, coffee, tea, milk, bottled water, etc. All communal doors and gates provided security but easily accessed with room keys or 4-digit codes. The overall vibe was friendly & comfortable, and private.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful, quiet space. Unbelievably fun and kind staff. Really good vibes. Can’t find a better place in pdx for the price.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. They make you feel like family and are very welcoming. It's a beautiful setting and it's quiet. The rooms were so comfortable and amazing. I have not one complaint.

Dawn and all the staff were very hospitable! Clean roomy suites, lovely breakfast spreads and a sparkling oasis pool- didn’t want to leave!

Very nice adult hotel. Quiet, gorgeous outdoor pool area. Beautiful tropical setting. We had room number 2 and it was about 5 steps away from entering the pool. Perfect location.
