Hotel Strata, Mountain View CA

The Strata size has ruined my expectations for staff at every hotel I go to, they were so perfect. Every hotel should have staff full of attentive people like strata. Rooms are affordable but with huge TV's, modern tech, etc. The colors and furniture fell a tad dated if you're into that thing but nothing terrible.

The breakfast buffet was decent and a great way to start your day. Don't forget to take advantage of the free shuttle to big tech offices.

Bonus: It's located 1 block from in-n-out which closes at midnight

The place is so nice! It's the best stay in my trip. Staff are great and professional! Rooms are clean and comfy, bunch of self-parking spots. Cheap laundry services. The location is also great - close to Mountain View downtown. I will definetely stay here again next time!

Strata is amazing you won't regret staying here. The hotel staff treat you like family, and do their absolute best to take care of anything, going above and beyond. My fiancé and I are moving from Austin Texas to Mountain View for work, and Strata is our first stop which means, we have a LOT of luggage, a bunch of stuff that we need to figure out, and the staff here made things super easy for us. Here, you are not just a room number, you are a person with unique needs and they definitely show that they care in every interaction you have. Staff members here are patient, accommodating, and very sweet to help us sign packages, answer questions. We can not be more grateful. There is complimentary breakfast in the morning and snacks all day. Their bike rental program is also very convenient while we wait for the car to be delivered. Walking distance to grocery stores. Highly recommend, would give 10 stars if there is an options.

Amazing! One of the best hotels I have ever been to around the United States, well equipped with everything you need to stay relaxed and calm with a fresh 5 Stars Breakfast, Thank you so much, it will be my regular place to stay when I visit California again, And I would love to see you guys here in Arizona:)

I stayed in Hotel Strata for a week for a business trip and it was a real pleasure! Kirit and his whole family were extremely welcoming and accomodating! All facilities in the hotel were on point and everything was spotless. There was also a convenient shuttle service in the morning to take guests to their respective offices, making it easier for me to commute. Would definitely stay here again!:)

Hotel Strata is a gem! I took my sons on a last minute getaway and chose to stay at this establishment because of the central location, the amenities, and the quality. The room was Huge! It had a perfect kitchenette, an amazing bathroom with extra technology like a towel warmer, a bidet, and even warm floors akin to the Korean style homes. The beds were very comfortable and the down pillows cradled my head so well that I slept through the night! The staff even placed a real baby crib in the room with two cute little teddy bears for my 10-month old son, which was so thoughtful and impressive. Upon unpacking, I even found Yoga equipment ready for use! As if all of that wasn't enough, the hotel staff serves a delicious HOT breakfast each morning that is included in your stay. Kirit, the owner, often enjoys chatting with guests and offering recommendations for site-seeing, as well as arranging rides in their shuttle to and from major corporations for business travelers. They even offer bicycles you can freely borrow for the day to cruise around town! It was refreshing to see such amazing personalized service and kindness of a family-owned and operated business.
I HIGHLY recommend Hotel Strata to anyone and everyone! You will be very happy with a great sleep, a full stomach, and smiles all around when you choose Strata:) We certainly were!

To summarize this place: quality and thoughtful touches all around. Simple things done well

Biggest Pros:
-amazing and super professional staff
-very reasonable prices
-every possible amenity you could need (rooms come with safes, pretty high end mini fridges, foam rollers, yoga mats, heavy curtains that actually block out the sun, there's onsite laundry services, lots of complimetary offerings, etc)
-very quiet
-great wine and liquor store adjacent, if you need it

Biggest cons:
-none really, but if I had to try to complain: gym doesn't have a squat rack or a deadlift bar, but like, it's still pretty good for a hotel gym? (you could do a reasonable upper body workout if you are handy with dumbbells). I guess the area isn't super walkable but that's more of a general problem for this part of South Bay

We checked in, got into the room for 10 min and there was a call. It was the front desk, "Was the room satisfactory? " Never had that happen! Great friendly service and good breakfast.

Extraordinary service at this boutique hotel. I have stayed in all kinds of hotels and the service at this unassuming boutique hotel rivals those of 5 star properties.
