House Of JuJu By the Bay, Morro Bay CA

Chef had an interesting take on clam chowder, many of the aromatics were not fully cooked, spritely flavor with a zing for sure. Not much clam inside but what what little was there was very fresh and flavorful.

Went back second time, same item, loaded with paprika, no aromatics, very few tiny pieces of clam, entire top of soup filled with bacon grease, ewe. Wouldn’t come back here again.

Service was slow, took a while to take our order. Ordered clam chowder and a side of potatoes. Clam chowder is just awful - a gooey, gelatinous, tasteless mess. Potatoes were average. Will not be back.

Food was superb. Burger was ordered well-done. It was cooked perfectly; well but not overdone. Potatoes were perfect; crispy outside, slightly soft but slightly firm inside. Flatbread with chipotle, sautéed onions, and artichoke was delicious.

We were seated outside with no wait, but it was a cold, windy evening. Isaiah offered to move us inside if a table opened up, and we eventually did move about when our food arrived. Our waitress, Maddie, was very pleasant and helpful. It seemed like a very busy night, but both Isaiah and Maddie were cool and collected, and very accommodating. Great experience!

Cute space. Inside and outside seating. Sweet wait staff. Small but good menu. Nice change seafood chowder. If your not a fan of of the typical cream based version try this one. Great salads.

Great place! Shrimp tacos and salad were awesome! They don’t skimp on quality or quantity. Get the potatoes! Gluten Free options for the wife were great! Will come back.

Charming spot on the water to grab a bite in Morro Bay. Take in the view overlooking the bay and Morro rock while enjoying a fresh meal. I was very impressed with the quality of food as well as the service. Don’t miss this gem on your next trip to Morro Bay.

I called in and got takeout here. Whoever took my phone call was extremely thorough, and when I got there they had marked every box with what was in it as well as assembled my tacos right when I got there so they weren’t soggy. The food was sooo good. I got the dragon lady wrap and loved every single bite. I will definitely be back. I can’t believe it took me so long to find this place!

I had the sliders and they were delicious, the best I’ve had! The vibe was great, I didn’t feel discriminated or anything. The people were so nice and friendly. This is officially my go to restaurant every time I visit morro bay! It’s super affordable!

Just WOW. First bite of a burger, I just stopped. Someone asked me if I was okay. I said I was just "taking it all in. " It was just really good. Nice location overlooking Morro Rock. Large groups may need to wait a little bit.

Had three mini burgers with some dramatic flavors. Not sure why there are only two in this picture. No fries but the baked potatoes and the sauce were also delicious. Not sure if I saw any Jujus there.

Went here for a late lunch and burger was delicious. I had ordered the the Calamity Jane burger with the bison instead of the beef and still got the beef. Probably in my top 5 of burgers I have had. The side of potatoes are highly recommended as well. Staff was friendly and price was reasonable.

Great food at very reasonable prices. The Calamity Jane burger is a must have! Kids meals come with puddings. Has outdoor dining tables if you prefer.

Our wedding party had a wonderful luncheon there. The owners accommodated our 25 folks at 3 banquet tables in their Rock-view roomette and we ordered wonderful meals individually off the menu. Good selections!

Food and service were amazing! The turkey burgers are amazing! Fresh bun. Amazing potatoes. Great ocean view. Would definitely recommend.
